My boss was asking me how I felt today and I said I felt just fine, and he said "You're starting to get a pregnant lady waddle" isn't it like waaaayyyy too early for that? I thought that only happened towards the end? I don't know if that's a reason to be concerned or not... He's the only one to say anything to me about it, so I'm not sure if I really am or not. If I am, I haven't noticed it.
My coworker mentioned that to me this past week too. Between the extra weight and sciatica, Im definitely walking differently. I don't think it's too early, since all of us have some pretty big baby bumps at this point. Lol
ok, thank you for the responses ladies. I'm a FTM and don't really know what to expect or what's normal sometimes and really don't have a whole lot of people around to ask, lol.
I've got the waddle going on. You ARE at the end of your pregnancy... it's not like you're 12 weeks and waddling and even if you were, so what? Rude dude.
I've been waddling for several weeks now, especially when I do a lot of walking.
Oh and what the hell does your male boss know about it?! I'd tell him how rude this comment is.
It was at the end of the day, and I am on my feet all day..so I do a lot of walking! Yea, I found it really odd he would comment on it too, I didn't know how to take it...he caught me off guard.
I have to agree that you are most definitely at the end of your pregnancy... And we've all gained some extra weight so out waddling is normal.. unless you're in pain I wouldn't be concerned about a waddle when you walk.
My fantasy goes like this:
"and you boss man are starting to get extremely inappropriate and rude."
Then he starts to cry realizing what a jackass he is.
I don't think I waddle all of the time... Only when necessary lol!!! But someone told me I was starting to waddle back when I was like 14 weeks!!! People are silly.

Oh that?! It's all the people that have been up my backside lately.
If I dont think about how I am walking as I am walking, yes I waddle. I have for about 2 or 3 weeks now. I think mine is the fact my back is always hurting. Your boss was a bit rude for pointing that out. But it is not anything to worry over.
I waddle if I've been sitting at my desk too long, because the pain in my back when I stand up is terrible. It also happens towards the end of the day.
Re: way too early isn't it?
Well, he's a a** for saying that.
That said, I know I am totally walking very differently than I normally do. My stance is wider. I'm 30w, if that helps.
Nope. Been waddling for a while now. I'm almost 30 weeks.

I've been waddling for weeks, especially after getting up from sitting/laying for a while. My hips hurt, so that's the problem.
I do waddle a little otherwise as well, I think it's just a product of the belly....
Ditto, but its been an a;; day hip pain the last few days! But I have been waddling off and on for a while now, I smile and laugh at myself about it
Oh that?! It's all the people that have been up my backside lately.
What an a$$hat. I would have looked him right in the face and replied, "It's not the baby, I just played rough rodeo with my SO last night."
And then see if he ever makes THAT comment again.
I'm a waddler, too. Especially in the afternoon.
