Thanks!! We are new to CD. I'm trying my best to save money since I convinced DH I should stay home. We are going to be so broke. Making them myself saved a ton too. Now I have to use them since I have them! It's not really difficult like I imagined...just not so fond of the "fluffy butt" others think is so cute. He's already huge as it is and in 9 mo clothes without the fluff! I decided after trying a few diapers that the traditional covers would be less fluffy.
I love to sew! But I grew up watching my mom and grandmom make just about everything. They were both very domestic households. My sister can't sew a stitch. She was more likely to be climbing a tree or something than hanging on to mom's every move I guess. I think I just got the crafty gene.
Did you use the Babyville patterns? I've made their pocket diapers in some of those same fabrics. DD1 loves the owl fabric the best
No, I looked online for a free pattern I liked, but in the end I just drew one of my own by tracing a diaper I already had, then tweaking it. I like the dinosaurs best! I might be going back to see if it's still on sale at Joanns -- it was 40% off!!

I'm not a huge fan of the fluffy butt either, but you get used to it after awhile. Your covers look awesome! Great job mama!

Ummm, I can... But not on the bump! I hope they work! I haven't tried them out yet!
