Sitting Up

Can your LO get from their back to a sitting position on their own? We practice after every diaper change, but the most I've seen W try on his own is trying to get out of the carseat. Wondering if we are the only ones.

No way! Colby is just starting to sit on his own. He isn't very mobile.

Nope. And if I remember correctly, DS1 learned to sit up on his own from a crawling position first, and then more of the ab-crunch type sitting up. But that was almost 3 years ago, so I'm a little foggy.

He can only sit up himself if he's semi propped up anyway (like laying on the Boppy). But if he's laying flat on his back, he can't (but not for lack of trying!)

DD twists all around during diaper changes, but she hasn't tried to go from laying down to sitting up yet. She literally just learned to sit up this week though.
