What lotions are safe for their hands?

DS has eczema and his hands are all dry and cracked and irritated, probably because he sucks his thumbs. What s safe to put on since he does suck his thumbs. I know pedi told me it was okay if a little bacitracin got in his mouth, but I need to really put alot of something. Aquaphor maybe?

    dd has bad eczema all over, pedi told me aquaphor..but not sure about getting in the mouth. if i put it on her hands at night i always put mittens on her hands

    oh of course! I swaddle him for nights and naps, I should be layering it on then, duh. Thanks!

    Use nipple cream.  It works great and is safe for them.  I use it on DD's thumb.

    We don't put lotion on LO's hands...he constantly puts them in his mouth.
