Can anyone recommend their favorite nursing bra? I would like something comfortable and good to wear under lots of things. I've heard no wires and I've also heard good things about nursing tanks, so if you've got recommendations on those, please share! Thanks!
I really like Bravado. The girls have always been big, but now they are bigger. I feel like Bravado gives me good support with no wires and they are very comfy. Also, they come in my size which is definetly a plus.
I got a 2 pack from Walmart online that was super cheap. They were great for sleeping! I used them throughout nursing with DS1. Other than a few stains they are good for this baby too.
Probably silly question but why no wires? I purchased one with wires and already washed it so prob can't return....
I'm told wires can lead to mastitis, especially soon after birth when the milk ducts are regulating to the baby's needs. Bravado does have some with wires, but they aren't recommended until about 3-4 months of an established breastfeeding routine.
As far as nursing bra brand recommendations in general... Bravado all the way! I bought another brand with my first baby through Motherhood Maternity, and they were horrible! I wish I knew the brand, but I cut the tags out in an effort to reduce at least one discomfort. The ones from MM tended to stretch out and lose their shape, and that made them even more uncomfortable. If you're serious about breastfeeding, invest in some good nursing bras. Don't go for the super cheap!

Just got fitted for nursing bras by a certified lactaton consultant and ended up buying 2 Bravados and 1 Medela sleep bra. Also bought nursing nightgown.
She told me no underwire until 8 weeks. It can lead to clogged ducts and mastitis.

Re: Nursing bra recommendations?
Not sure. Read it somewhere. I think it's just for the beginning right after birth?
