XP: Andrews birth story (PIP)

I am finally getting a chance to log on the computer and type up Andrews birth story 
On Tuesday (1/29) at 11am I went in for my 39 week appointment after having contractions on and off since about 3am. My midwife checked me and I was 5-6cm dilated and still having contractions so she told me to call DH and walk over to the hospital. DH got to the hospital at around 12pm. We had to wait for a room for about an hour, after we got in to the room I was at 6cm, after a few hours I got my epi and had only progressed to 7. The mid wife broke my water and my epi decided to stop working. After only about 10-15 mins I went from 7-10cms and was ready to push. 15 mins of pushing and a 2nd degree episiotomy later, Andrew Joseph was born! He was 8lbs 6oz and 20 inches long. We thought we might have red hair like his big brother but now its looking more blond like mommy

Thanks! I had an epi with DS1 and I didn't feel anything, so this was new for me. The midwife who delivered says it only happens sometimes.
