sore 2 weeks after stopping?

Was EP for almost 8 months, weaned down gradually (cut out 1 pump every week over a few months), then finally stopped almost 2 weeks ago.  (Last few pumps were only about 15 mL after I went to once a day)  No pain or symptoms but then yesterday I started getting sore & had some lumps.  I wound up hand-expressing a few drops to see if that would help.  Left a msg with the dr today but never heard back.  Should I be worried?  I know it can take some time for it to stop completely but should I be pumping here and there to keep from getting blocked ducts or mastitis or whatever?  Dr just kept saying to cut out 1 pump every few days when I wanted to stop but never specified how exactly to end it, is there anything else I need to do?  Anyone else fine for many days or weeks after stopping and then sudddenly have problems?
