So I was out with DD this afternoon for a friend's DD's birthday party. We were out past my DD's nap time and got home around 2. I have been trying for an hour now to put her down. Right now she's whining and crying in her crib. How long before you throw in the towel?

    It took another 20 minutes and a lot of back rubbing, but she finally gave in. Holy moly. She's never fought it that bad before.

    Some overtired kids are just not fun.  That's why I'm a nap natzi.  I've felt your pain!  Glad she finally went to sleep, thank goodness!
