Question about O.

I know that OPK's just detect your LH surge which means that your body is getting ready to ovulate. But I also read that just because your body is getting ready to ovulate, sometimes even with the LH surge, you don't ovulate. Anyone have any idea how often that happens?

It's different for everyone. I'm not aware of any average number. The only way to know whether or not you ovulated is by temping and charting.
