Since you know you are positive, there is nothing to worry about. They will put you on IV antibiotics when you go into labor. You'll probably have an IV anyway so it won't even be noticeable to you.
No worries. With DD I tested pos and just had IV antibiotics. The only thing that happened for me was I had a reaction to the Antibiotics but all turned out well. Baby and I were perfectly healthy. My sister also tested Pos with her DD but neg with DS. So it all depends. Just relax and if you do have any questions ask your OB/MW

I'm also positive, and super worried(the internet can be scary!). But I'm told I shouldnt be worried. The bottom line is IV antibiotic during labor. My midwife likes to get in 2 doses prior to birth, they are given 4 hrs apart. I also dont have to be hooked to an IV pole during the whole labor, and can still be in the birthing tub, which is very good news.
I just tested positive as well, it is pretty common and my Dr is not concerned at all. Like PPs said, they just put you on antibiotics during labor, and you won't even notice. You will be fine!
You don't have anything to worry about. You can check out this site for clarity but basically you just have to have I.V. Antibiotics. I tested positive too and wanted to bawl b/c it just didn't sound good. They reassured me that baby and I will be fine.
I also tested positive for GBS. I wasn't too concerned about the antibiotics, but I was concerned about what would happen after delivery...would I still get to cuddle and BF my LO...or would he have to be taken away for testing. Other December ladies reassured me that it really isn't a big deal, and yes, as long as everything else goes well, we do get bonding time right after birth! (You can read the thread here)
