how much does/did your 6week old weigh?

My DD is such a peanut, at 6 weeks she is around 8lbs (was 6.11 at birth).  My DS was like 11 lbs at 6 weeks so it's crazy to me that she's so small, but maybe he was just massive lol...

 

Just curious what other 6 week olds weighed.

Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever!     6lbs 10oz at birth and weighs 9lbs maybe 6oz at 8 weeks. So I think you are okay. Every baby grows different. EBF babies are usually lighter than formula also.

    My "LO" althought doesnt seem so little compared to yours was 12lbs at 6wks. He was born 8lbs 2oz.

    DD:
    Birth - 8 lbs 8 oz
    6 weeks - 10 lbs 6 oz
    18 months - 20 lbs 7 oz

    DS:
    Birth - 9 lbs 2 oz
    6 weeks - 12 lbs 1 oz
    5 months - 20 lbs 6 oz

    DS and DD basically weigh the same right now and they are 14 months apart. Crazy, eh?

    Keep in mind my son is a preemie...

    He was 4lb 9oz at birth and is approx. 7lbs 8oz now.  He will be 6 weeks tomorrow.

    7lbs 8 0z at birth

    lost alittle more then a pound inbetween...( tried breast feedin didn't work)

    8lbs 10 oz at 6 weeks.

     

    2months today- goin to dr in a few days

    DD was 6 lbs 1 oz at birth, 8 lbs 6 oz at 5 weeks and 10 lbs 11 oz at 10 weeks.  She is on the small side but growing well.

    She was born 5 pounds 7 ounces. She now (at 6 weeks) weighs 7 pounds 10 ounces (and is exclusively formula fed).

    Not sure what DD weighed at 6 weeks, but she weighed in at 9.5 at 7 weeks.  So I'm guessing she was a little less the week before.

    DS was 7lbs 13ozs at birth.  At 6 weeks he was 12lbs 4 ozs.  He is long too.  My growing boy!
