Liam is 14 months and shows no interest in walking. He loves to stand, and cruises on furniture, crawls superfast, but will not walk! How old was your lo when he/she started walking? I'm not really concerned, just curious.
DS was an super early bird and walked at 8 months... but from cruising he started standing up on his own (not walking) and then started walking after that so I'm sure your LO is about to start soon!
Abigail will be 16 months on the 5th and isn't walking yet. Shes taken about 10 steps but wont/ hasnt taken anymore in the past 2 weeks. So i'm guessing she'll take off one of these days. I'm sure you little guy will too. Hes adorable!! and also love the name Liam, if we have a boy thats the name we have picked out
my daughter was a little over 9 months when she began walking. one day she was taking a few steps at a time and a couple weeks later she was fully walking. She just turned 1 and now she can climb up steps and is running all over the place. Sometimes I wish she wasnt so mobile but then i rethink it because im really glad i dont have to carry her around anymore

My DS took his first steps at 8.5 months. For a while, he would do a combo of walking/crawling. He stopped crawling and walked all of the time right before 12 months.
He took his first steps around 14 months, but it was only in the last 2 days or so that he crossed the threshold and spends a larger percentage of the time walking than crawling. (you can check my ticker but he's over 15 months now). It took a while to go from those first steps to being a "walker".

I wouldn't be too worried. If your Pedi hasn't voiced concern they you're good. There really is a very wide range in what is normal. My son was an early walker, around 8.5-9 months. My neice didn't walk until closer to 14 months.
DD started standing at 9 months, started cruising at 11 months, and was walking by 12 months. I have a nephew that is a month older than DD and those two spent a lot of time together over the holidays. DD went from cruising to walking very quickly so I attribute it to watching my nephew walk.

Surprise BFP 8/6/14... MMC @ 8 weeks 4 days... Miss you everyday sweet baby angel.
Still not walking here. But he likes to randomly stand up (not holding anything). He can stand for over a minute! Just doesn't want to take those first steps.

DD stands and cruises but refuses to walk. We joke that walk is a four letter word in our house. She freaks out when we ask her to!
We'll see!
DS was 10 months.
DD was 11.5 months.
At 8.5 months DD stood up, started running, and hasn't stopped since!
