Hi Ladies,
I'm a Zumba instructor and it's always on my mind as to how much I should be working out, is it really that good? Well this new article put some of my fears aside. I hope it hasn't been posted, I didn't see it when I looked.

Re: New research- exercising while pregnant
If you're looking for more reassurance, I highly recommend Exercising Through Your Pregnancy by James Clapp. And Cassandry Forsythe's Blog.
I'm definitely a huge fan of staying as active as possible, as long as possible. I attribute my fitness and strength as well as my continuing exercise for a really uncomplicated, pain-free pregnancy.

There is no reason to "take it easy" while pregnant. Too many women think it's an excuse not to exercise but from what I've read, it's very beneficial. I'm reading a book called "Exercising Through Pregnancy" and it's based on studies done by a Dr. on women who exercised (and i don't meant just walking) throughout their pregnancies. I agree. I was sick for most of my pregnancy but I worked out when I could & I recovered very quickly from my vaginal delivery.
