now. He did nap from about 10-11 and then 2-4, but he's dropping his first nap on his own. I'm inching his afternoon nap time back a bit at a time. He just went down about 10 minutes ago.

DD wakes up about 7:30 am then goes down for a nap between noon & 1. She sleeps anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour or so. That being said she has been napping for almost 2 hours which is unheard of these days! Her bedtime is 8 pm.

Usually arond 1-2, or 3 if we're out and about and aren't home (he pretty much only naps in his crib). Usually takes him about a half hour to fall asleep anymore, and he sleeps for about 2-2.5 hours. Every once in a while he won't nap at all, and in that case I just let him relax in his crib for about an hour (he doesn't mind). That way we both get a break.
My son goes down at or around 11:30. He usually sleeps until 2:00 or 2:30.
He didn't always nap this long. At the beginning he was only napping an hour, but seemed to lengthen it. Some weeks now he will sleep 2 hours, some weeks three, and some weeks only 1.5. All over the place.
We must be doing it wrong. DS wakes up between 6:00 and 6:30 and naps from around 9:00 til noon. He goes down for the night between 7:00 and 8:00. We didn't impose this on him, btw. We've always just followed his cues.
