Is It The Metformin?

Hello ladies!

I started having regular periods in September 2010, and in November 2010, I went to a new Endo and she put me back on Metformin (500 mg for two weeks, and 1000 starting that Tuesday until my appointment with her at the end of Feb).  While taking the Metformin, my period did not come in December and it has not come this month.  Has Metformin ever did this to any of you?  I wonder what this could be?

SN: I took a lot of pregnancy tests, and they all are negative.

    Hey there :) Do you have any ideas why your periods were irregular before September, or what caused them to be regular starting then?

    Ditto Sulfa. For me, Metformin had the opposite effect, in that they made my period regular.

    That sounds wierd, I thought metformin was supposed to regulate.  I'd call your RE
