Hi Everyone!
Hubby and I have been trying for over 3yrs now to get pregnant. 1 1/2 yrs of IUI/intercourse. We are now to the point of crossing over to IVF. Big question is where to start? How do I know we picked the right place? I have Kaiser now and live in Orange County, CA so it has been easy until now. I have been diagnosed with PCOS with some endometriosis as well.
We are in unfamiliar ground and taking a huge risk with money doesn't help us want to jump in and go. I'm hoping that you ladies can help...
Thanks xoxoxo and best of luck to all of you
Re: Newbie to IVF....
Welcome!
I looked at SART scores to help decide on an RE. https://www.sart.org/frame/detail.aspx?id=3893
Good luck to you!

Ditto Faith.
Also, Advanced Fertility has a great website on ART.
Welcome and good luck!
Tara & Dave - TTC since September 2006
PCOS - dx 1999 (amenorrhea) | freakishly long fallopian tubes
Hypoglycemic | thyroid issues | severely anemic
Multiple Clomid cycles of 50, 100, 150 - absolutely no response
Follistim 50/100 | Follistim 75/125 | Follistim 100/150 IUI - all BFNs
Converted IVF - BFP - m/c | FET - BFN | IVF #2 = BFN
IVF #3
Started TTC 05.08
Me: Stage II endo, borderline high FSH
DH: perfect
1 lap, 5 IUIs = 4 BFNs and 1 c/p
2 IVFs, 2 FETs = 1 BFN, 1 c/p, 1 ectopic and finally a sticky BFP in May 2011!
1 FET in Aug 2013 = BFP!
I would ask your ob/gyn for a referral.
I asked the ladies on this board from my area who they were seeing.
I set up consult appointments with two REs, discussed my case (I already had all of diagnosis testing done with my ob-gyn) and costs.
I reviewed their stats on SART.
Good luck!
Sorry you have to be here, but welcome and good luck! All the other ladies had great ideas for finding an RE. Best of luck to you!
