My DH name is Richard and if/when we have kids, if we have a daughter, her name will be Ricki, we decided a long time ago. Aside from DH, Richard is his father's name, and my father's name is Ricky. I just love the idea of naming our future little girl Ricki and paying tribute to all of these wonderful men at once. So for obvious biased reasons, Ricki gets my vote.
If you're not a fan of any of the feminized versions, another option could be to use the meaning of the name instead ("strong," "powerful," leader") and do a search on girls' names with the same meaning.?
Re: girl version of richard???? help??

If you just want the spelling to be similar what about Richa (Ree-sha), I swear it's a real name. It's Indian/Hindu
Ricky is the only name I can think of (Ricki?)
Does he have a middle name that can be more feminine-ized?
oh heck... why not just do Rychard! LOL just kidding!
I like Rachel or Rochelle

LOL @ Richmal.
Whatever happened to Sophia?
I like that better than any of these.
Maybe you could save Richard for if you have a boy next time.
