Can two deaf people have a hearing baby?

Just wondering because I heard one my childhood friends had a baby recently.  She and her husband are both deaf.  (She was born that way and I believe he was too.)  In any event, can't wait to see her baby!

I think so. I think it depends on if the kid gets both of the "deaf genes"

I'm not positive, but I believe if two people have hereditary deafness their child will as well.

I had a friend in high school that both her parents were deaf and they had 7 children, all of whom have perfect hearing.

Yes. Also, i knew a family where both parents were not deaf but all four of their children were.

My best friend is the daughter of two totally deaf parents. She can hear just fine, and always has been able to.
