Just wondering because I heard one my childhood friends had a baby recently. She and her husband are both deaf. (She was born that way and I believe he was too.) In any event, can't wait to see her baby!

Re: Can two deaf people have a hearing baby?
I think so. I think it depends on if the kid gets both of the "deaf genes"

I'm not positive, but I believe if two people have hereditary deafness their child will as well.
ETA: Looks like I'm wrong, please ignore me.
I had a friend in high school that both her parents were deaf and they had 7 children, all of whom have perfect hearing.
