Is it against baby shower invitation etiquette to write where the mother-to-be is registered at?

In earlier posts (scroll down to read) it is fine putting the Registry information on the invite or make a seperate piece of paper listing where the mother to be is registered!

All the invites I get for showers (bridal or baby) all have the registry info on them or included with them.

Nope. Since someone else is hosting the shower for you it's ok for it to be mentioned in the invite.

I haven't gotten a shower invite (bridal or baby) that did not include the registry info. Years ago...when my oldest kids were born moms-to-be didn't register (no such thing - except maybe at the very exclusive stores of the time)...so it wasn't an option.

The purpose of the shower is gifts so writing down the registry is perfectly acceptable
