Sound like it to me. What do they feel like? (i.e. do they start in your back and roll into your abdomen?)
Just watch for them to get stronger and closer together. I had contractions for 4 hours Monday night- they started at 15 minutes apart, then 10, then 8, then back to 10 and then they stopped.
