If you carry really low early/baby drops early does that mean baby will come early?
I'm just curious, not in a rush. I was visiting family this weekend and everyone's comments went something like "Wow, baby is sooo low already! I bet you'll have baby early. There's no way baby will hang in there too much longer." Do I have something to be worried about? When the doctor feels baby's head she pushes hard and wiggles really low on top of my vag kind of (I don't know how else to explain it.)

I'm sorry I don't know the answer but I have often wondered the same thing. LO has stayed pretty low throughout this whole pregnancy so far. She is rarely above my belly button (I swear she is going to push it out) and it just looks like I have a huge gut???

Don't worry. You never know, but they say most 1st pregnancies aren't early. Besides you are pretty close to term, should there be something to worry about, your doctor would let you know. Sometimes babies are just carried low. People just like to speculate about pregnancy, that way if they do happen to be right they can say they knew it all along.

im carrying what i seem is low, most of her kicks and pokes and stuff are lower on me, belly button area or just a little higher, i donno everyone woman carries different so i dont think it means you will go into labor early.
i can totally relate to the pushing of the belly button seems every time i look at my now outtie it looks bigger and bigger, oh how i cant wait to have my good ol innie back!

This is how I've been the whole pregnancy and we're having a boy (as far as we know unless that was a third leg on the u/s). Your LO is getting engaged and ready to come out but who knows when he/she'll make their grand entrance.

I've carried very low and dropped at 32 weeks. Due on Saturday with no signs of labor.
A one-word answer to your question: NO!
My baby dropped around 36/37 weeks, causing many coworkers and strangers to remark that I would not make it to my due date. As of last Thursday, she's at 0 station, I'm 4 cm dilated, 100% effaced, and most definitely not in labor.
I'm now 40 weeks and 5 days, and I definitely made the mistake of believing all these people who "assured" me I wouldn't go til my due date. I know it's good if baby drops down and it's good that your body gets ready in advance, but it's no guarantee.
(Also, people tell me "only boys drop that low"....yeah, right. My baby girl gets low with the best of them!)
