Has anyone heard of people just bfing for the first month or so? Just curious.

    You will find someone who BF any length of time if you look hard enough.  There is no right or wrong, just what works for YOU and your family.

    lots of woman only bf for just a month. mostly bc they give up and find it difficult. my friend only did it for 5 or 6 wks. she said it hurt too much. i have done research and found that for a lot (not all) woman that think its extremely painful or the baby isnt getting enough were not taught how to get the baby latched on correctly. ill see hw it works out for me bc id like to go 6m to a yr.

    Sure. I have heard of people BFing for all lengths of time. It is a personal choice and you should do what feels right/best for you and your family.

    For me the first month was the worst.  Ds and I finally got into the groove around 3-4 weeks.

    Of course!  Any amount of breastfeeding is beneficial for the baby, even if it's only once.

    Do what works for you and your family.
