My SO & I had our first night away from ds last night and we had some drinks with friends. I had about 5 or 6 and stopped drinking at midnight. The last time I drank was December last year so obviously feeling a little bit hungover, just a slight headache and dehydrated. Would you feel comfortable feeding your lo in that condition? I would feel horrible if there was any alcohol in my milk! I know LLL says you can feed 2-3hrs after drinking but it still feels wierd. I just pumped 24 ounces and dont know if I should toss or keep. WWYD?

This is from Motherrisk at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
If you scroll down, there is an algorithm that tells you how long to wait based on how many hours, how many drinks and your weight.
I think I would use the milk. And I hope you feel better soon. If I were hung over today I would just die
In the words of kellymom - if you are sober enough to drive, you are sober enough to nurse. I would nurse.
You'd better pound the water though!
