Personally it reminds me a friends I once had! She was great! So I have a positive vibe behind it!
But then my mind goes to Lucille Ball as well...
Its funny you mention that, DH and I finally picked a name, and our baby girl will be name "Lucy"....
Thats true, I never thought of Lucy from Charlie Brown, I actually thought of "I Love Lucy"
Ditto. Or that OOOOOOLLLLDDD Hanson song called "Lucy." I think the youngest one sang the song.

I like the name though.
I have a friend name Lucy and I love her dearly. I think of her when I hear that name...then I love Lucy, then charlie brown.

LMAO this is exactly what I thought of!
My grandma's middle name was Lucille so I think we'll end up with Lucy to be close to her name but not so old-fashioned. At least it's something easy to spell and everyone knows it, right?

Me too! And I wasn't an anthro or bio major.
It reminds me of our dog! Hubby wanted to be able to say "Lucy I'm Home" so he named her after I Love Lucy!
We love the name & tell our puppy everyday that she will always be our first baby!

I wanted to name our baby Lucy if it is a girl. I love that name. My Nanny's name is Lucy and Paw Paw calls her spookie Lucy. I think it's really cute. My DH does not like it so...
