I posted a couple weeks ago about not being able to lose weight and hanging on to breastfeeding fat. So I did a lot of research and decided to do a juice cleanse. I read Natalia Rose's book and she did a 5-day cleanse while nursing and she had plenty of milk so I decided to do a 3-day. Of course I paid careful attention to my nursing and making sure she was satisfied, otherwise I would have added food after day 1. But I'm on the last day and not only have I dropped 8 pounds I feel like I have MORE milk than I did before. My clothes fit me better, but I was shocked that I was down 8 lb because that seems like a lot, which leads me to believe it was all water weight because I've been peeing like crazy.
I have 6 16oz juices and as much water as I want all day. Yes, I get hungry when it's getting time for another juice but I feel great otherwise! Lots of energy and a leaner tummy! Juice #6 is actually a cashew milk with cinnamon and stevia. Tastes like a smoothie, but it's full of protein and fat.
