BF HELP!! xp BF board

I just pumped for 20 minutes and what came out of my left side looked like cloudy water. The right side looked like normal milk, but not the left side. What is going on? The weather is warm, but I don't think my milk should be that clear. Yesterday LO spit up what looked like pure water and she had a very watery poop, so this doesn't appear to be an isolated incident. HELP! How can I fix it?

TIA!

If the weather is warm your body knows baby needs more fluids and you'll get more water in the milk. It's normal and to be expected. in warm water it's also normal for baby to want to nurse more often but they may nurse for shorter amounts of time in order to get more water.

Sometimes my foremilk looks pretty watery. I think it's normal. If you'd pumped longer you probably would have gotten to the thicker hindmilk eventually.

this is what I'm thinking, but 20 minutes is a long time to pump without getting to the hind milk. I'm using a manual pump and I only go 10 min on each side and get a good amount of hind milk...
