How long after miscarriage did you get your BFP?!?!

I?m looking for some success stories. I have been going through this miscarriage since September ( It?s a long story) I finally had my D&C on Dec 20^th and then I had to have another one Dec 27^th due to them not getting everything out!  My Dr. Said to wait until after my first period to TTC. I?m just wondering how long after your miscarriage did you get your BFP?!?!

I had a D&C in the beginning of August.  My MD said wait two normal cycles so we started trying again in October and got the BFP on December 10...With last period being November 14th...Good luck!

I got PG our 3rd cycle trying after my D and C, but lost the PG. I got PG again on the 2nd cycle trying this time. Good luck!

I am sorry for your loss.  It took us 7 cycles of actively trying with charting to conceive this LO.  We did skip the first cycle post m/c as per my Dr's recommendation.

It was 10 months for us, but we didn't start trying right away. We only tried for 2 months.

Im so sorry for your loss.  My situation is a bit different.  I did not need a D&C, as I naturally miscarried.  My OB told me since I was pretty early and everything passed on its own, I didnt have to wait to start trying again.  I got pregnant the very next cycle with no period in between.

I'm sorry for your loss. My D&C was on May 1. We waited several cycles (until the end of the summer) before trying again. I wanted to let my body "reset itself," then take some time for emotional healing too. We then conceived on the 2nd cycle of trying.

First, I am so sorry for your loss. Here's my story....I have been fortunate to get pregnant quickly, but keeping the pregnancy has been an issue for us. We got a BFP our first cycle trying in January 2012 and had a complete m/c in February. My doctor recommended waiting for two cycles before trying again. My cycles were all over the place, but on the third cycle we tried again and got another BFP in June with a missed m/c diagnosed in July. I had some RPL testing done and waited until cleared to try again. We got another BFP in October right after being cleared, and hopefully, this one will be our rainbow baby.

Sorry for your loss. I had a natural miscarriage at 5 and 1/2 weeks. I was told to wait 2 cycles before trying again. After waiting 2, it took 2 more before I got my bfp. It was a surprise to both of us because my cycles were very weird and it was hard to predict when I was ovulating. Don't give up hope! It'll happen!

It took 2 cycles of TTC after my first loss, 8 cycles of TTC after my second loss, and after our third loss it took one cycle of trying on our own, 4 attempts at IUI (though only 2 actual IUIs) and finally IVF to get our BFP.

I had my last miscarriage in June (D&C 06/28/2012) at 12 weeks. I got AF on 06/28/2012 and had a BFP on 08/18/2012.

Good luck and I am so sorry that you had to have another D&C!

Edited to add: We were not TTC this cycle. We were getting ready to start RPL testing.

I am so sorry for your loss.

I got pregnant in June, had a miscarriage and D&C in August.  We took one cycle off and then got a bfp our second cycle trying.  I am 12 weeks now, hoping this LO sticks around.

 I had a BFP in Jan and found out I was pregnant with conjoined twins.  I then miscarried around 10 weeks and had a D&E in March.  It took almost 10 weeks for my period to come back and then we wait two cycles to try again  I got another BFP in Sept which was our first cycle trying.  Unfortunately, that pregnancy resulted in a natural m/c.  No D&C required.  We were planning on waiting two cycles again but when I period never returned a took a HPT and found out I was pregnant with no period in between.  I am currently almost 19 weeks pregnant and due June 3rd.  Hoping this is my take home baby

I got pregnant on 3rd cycle after my first natural miscarriage, but unfortunately had another natural miscarriage.I got pregnant again on the 3rd cycle this time. Good luck

So sorry for your loss. I had a missed miscarriage in October and a D&C on October 30th. I was told to wait one cycle before trying again. I got pregnant right after that first cycle so if you count the 2ww, I got my BFP (Dec 23) about 7.5 weeks after the D&C.

I had a cytotec induced m/c on July 15,  got the BFP Nov 18.   I waited 2 cycles, per doctors orders. Got the BFP on the third cycle of trying. 

My cycles were 27 days pre-m/c, and 22-24 days post m/c.

I am so sorry for your loss and the ordeal you have been through. It took us three months of ttc after the D&C. My cycle was really different after the D&C, and the month we got pregnant was the month I had no symptoms. Wishing you luck in your TTC journey.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

My natural m/c was on 11/4/11. We skipped two cycles per my doctor's suggestion and ended up traveling during that time. We TTC'd and charted for eight cycles and got our BFP on our first medicated cycle. At the time I remember the waiting was torture, but now when I look back I realize that my process really wasn't that difficult compared to some.

I really recommend you listen to your doctor and wait a cycle to heal. After that (and when you are ready) I hope the process is as quick as possible for you. Good luck!

We had an early natural miscarriage and started trying again right away, did 3 rounds of Clomid all BFN's and got our second BFP 2 years and 2 weeks from our first.

I'm very sorry for your loss...I unfortunately had two m/c, after the first it took 3 cycles to get pg again and with this pg it took 4 cycles.

First of all, I am so sorry for your loss.

I had my first miscarriage and D&C in October 2011, I subsquently got a BFP on our second cycle post that (so in January 2012). When that BFP ended in another loss with D&C we again got a BFP on our second cycle post, so last period was April 7th and BFP was in May....and am currently 38 weeks with that little one!

There are some ladies who conceive right away, others who do within a few months, others wait for much longer. It really varies.

First off, I am so sorry for your loss.

I had a natural mc at 7.5 weeks after ttc for 15 cycles.  I got af six weeks later, waited a cycle and got a bfp after the second cycle of trying.

I'm sorry for your loss and that it has been so drawn out. I had a natural m/c and waited until my first post-m/c AF before trying again. We got a BFP that first cycle. I wish you all the best.

I had a natural miscarriage in early September. My doctor told us we should wait until a cycle comes to start trying again. We couldn't wait and we got pregnant immediately. We got a BFP on October 20th. I am now 14 weeks and 6 days along and just had a check up. Baby is doing well. It was interesting trying to tell the nurse that my last menstrual period was in July, but I got pregnant early October. Many prayers for you!

After I delivered Aidan prematurely(22wks) it took us 19 cycles, 5 IUIs (with 1 early m/c in between) to get pregnant with our twins.  Good luck and ((hugs))

So sorry for your loss.  I was told to wait 1 cycle too.  It took me 32 days to get my first AF. (which seemed like an eternity,) We got pg on the 2nd cycle. GL to you!!

It took 5 cycles, and I'll be honest, it felt like forever even though I know it's not really all that long. We conceived on the cycle I stopped doing OPKs and all that jazz. GL to you and I'm so sorry for your loss.
