I'm a big fan of naming your kids what you plan to call them. So, if she were my daughter, I'd call her Jocelyn. ^_^
I agree with previous posters - she'll come up with a nickname in her own time. Heck, she might be a total tomboy and go with "Jo." Or something entirely unrelated to her ACTUAL name, like "Ladybug."
I went by "Shoshana," with no nicknames, until I was at least 10.
