I looked for a forum just for this subject but didn't find anything, so forgive me if this is against the rules.
This scan was taken at 12+4. The tech said he wouldn't even try to guess gender because it's too early, but where's the fun in that? I shared these images a few other places, and most people who tried to guess gender said it looked like a feminine nub. Only a couple said boy. Others said there isn't enough of a nub to see and still others said they don't see a nub at all! So what do you think?
Your US tech is right. It's too early to tell. You have only a few short weeks until your anatomy scan which is a better time to determine the sex, as baby has developed more.
Also, not many people find it fun to guess the sex of an internet strangers' unborn child. And theories are just that. Theories. No real science behind them.
On that note, congrats! You're having a baby!! Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.
Just kidding. But seriously it's too early. If your healthcare provider couldn't tell, what makes you think a bunch of strangers on the internet can? Just wait until your 20 week ultrasound like everyone else.

2. It's way too early to tell. Our doctor said the earliest you can possibly tell is at 20 weeks and sometimes you have to wait a little longer so if you're at 12 weeks you have another 8 weeks to go at least.

There's no need to be rude. Some people use the Ramzi theory and some people just want to see what others think.

Get over yourself she wasnt rude. And the ramzi has been pretty unpopular on the bump for a long time.
Telling me to get over myself in reference to my statement does not make sense. Nice try! Who cares if it's "unpopular" on The Bump, that doesn't mean members can't use it.
Congrats your having a unicorn! jk jk, no matter what internet strangers guess there is going to be a 50% chance of being right or wrong. Why not just wait a little bit more for your AU.

There is something called the "Nub Theory," which isn't exactly science but they claim to have a higher chance of predicting baby's sex at 12 weeks.

Even still, just wait. You'll know soon enough.
