My husband and I are team green, but we want to have something in mind for each sex. We've already decided on Eleanor (Nora) for a girl, but boys names have been a struggle. We have a list of potentials and would love opinions on them!
Leo Arlen (possibly nicknamed to Arlo) Harrison Callan Harvey
We are leaning towards Arlen, but are worried that it might be too unique. Thoughts? Other names to consider?
I'll name a few that I love but hubby has rejected or I just can't see actually using (please excuse my apparent love of Russian and German sounding names): Lance Hans Lars Vitaly Alexey Vaughn Galen
Leo and Arlo are my favourites from your list. We have decided our boy name as it's a family name but I love so many boy names which I suppose depending where you are from might be unique? Hopefully they help..
Felix Alfie Parker Fletcher Baxter Barnaby Jasper Hugo Sonny Otto/Otis Byron Duke Monty Rupert Bodhi
Leo- love this name Arlen (possibly nicknamed to Arlo)- Arlen sounds off to me, but I love Arlo on it's own. Harrison- Very trendy, but a nice name Callan- NMS. Sounds too much like callous. Harvey- I dislike Harvey. It sounds old mannish, and not in a fresh, ready for revival way. Plus, it makes me think of Lee Harvey Oswald every time I hear it.
Argo and Leo are my top two of your choices. I love pp's suggestion of Hugo and Otto. Other names to consider:
Miles Ivan Flynn Davis Warren Alfie Archer Grant Nolan Walter ( A little Wally would be so cute.) Felix
Re: Unique, but not weird, boy name opinions
Arlen is just random surnamey to me and Arlo doesn't seem like a nn for it. Arlo is great on its own.
Callan is eh
Harvey is nms but not bad
