R/R: I had a small amount of bright pink spotting on TP last night. That turned into my usual brown spotting, so now I'm much less excited about it. I guess I'll see what happens today. At least I get to leave work early to get my hair cut! 

CS/Q: well, I took my temp this morning, first time since 3dpo. It wasn't as high as I would have hoped. No questions, just posting for reference.

I don't have just one favorite, but love wine, mojitos, chai latte, and pumpkin spice latte!

Testing: Not until AF is due. This will probably become harder to hold to next week, but I will not test.

R/R: We went to get our Christmas tree yesterday. Got one, but DH is having trouble getting it to stand straight in a tree stand. I told him 2 options (new tree stand or cut some of the base off) that we can do to straighten it, and he doesn't like either option, so he got super grumpy last night. After about 4 hours of fighting with It, I will be picking up a new tree stand today. DH has been insisting the old style his parents use is the best (left), and now after watching a video of how the kind my parents has works he's willing to try theirs...way easier to get straight (right).

CS/Q: Nada. Just waiting for Mabis now. Thermometer doesn't seem to be favoring anything post-O yet...

GTKY: What is your favorite drink (doesn't have to be alcohol!)? Probably egg nog or hot chocolate. Adding rum to the nog or peppermint schnapps to hot cocoa is always great too!

@BertieMeetsGertie ahhh i told myself I wouldn't temp post O, but I keep waking up at the exact temp time, even if it's not time to get up..  and just reach for the thermometer anyway. FX for you if you test tomorrow!!!
@KhRun17 I like the seasonal beverage options! We also got our tree yesterday. I saw a bunch of options for stands and we just picked a cheap one. We won't be home for Christmas, so we didn't want to go all out and got a 6 foot tree. 

Month/Cycle: I'm going to start saying 1/1 because even though we've been at this since August, first ovulatory cycle is November... and that was coming off non-hormonal paraguard copper IUD (little PSA for all lol)

Testing:I was going to Dec 3, but now I think I'll wait til the 4th, since FF moved my O date

R/R: I had the best night of sleep I have had in a long time! 

CS/Q: How likely would it be that FF would remove my CH, given I'm 5dpo and have temps remaining high? I want to stop temping post O, but I am scared since I haven't O'd in months they will magically disappear and I feel like temping keeps me in the know that way haha

GTKY: What is your favorite drink (doesn't have to be alcohol!)? I used to be a diet coke feen, but gave that up in July. Now I drink a helluva lot of La Croix. Alcohol wise, I have a new appreciation for Titos with soda water and lime, as well as a dry red.

R/R: DH pisses me off in the mornings. He is so hard to get up I feel like he is a teenager and I am his mother. "Get up. You were suppose to be up an hour ago." "Ok, I'm getting up in a minute." Then we do the entire thing every 10 minutes for an hour. I swear he does it on purpose. He leaves at 8:00 and I don't start until 9:00. He needs to get prettied up for work, and I need to get a shower after work. So he spends his entire morning in the shower and I'm letting dogs out, feeding horses, getting lunches in bags, and trying to keep everything running smoothly. He literally has zero responsibility in the morning and if my first client shows up early I still have to get everything done on top of work. Rant #2 Major temp drop this morning, a little crampy, definitely bitchy all equals to AF.

@FLAshley my DH is the same way!!!! His alarm went off at 6am and I just hear him getting in the shower now at 7:30am. I just let him be late now. FX AF is not on her way!

R/R:  We got a tree yesterday, and the guy helping us to our car somehow sliced his finger, didn't notice, and then bled all over H's light tan driver's seat upholstery.  It was a disaster but it came right out with peroxide and at least the tree looks pretty in our living room.

CS/Q:  I'm SSing my temp rise this morning so hard.  **TW** My temp hasn't been this high during the LP since my loss cycle, but I also wasn't on Progesterone thrn either.

GTKY: What is your favorite drink (doesn't have to be alcohol!)?  I love homemade French press coffee.

@Flinstone glad someone got a great nights sleep! I slept terribly and I'm so tired right now. A few times a week I wake up in the middle of the night and my last two fingers are numb. Last night it happened to my hand and my foot. Super annoying!! I must be sleeping weirdly, but I don't think I'm sleeping any different than usual.

@FLAshley I so hear you on the DH getting up rant. Mine is the same and always has been.  Impossible to get him out of bed. If he sets an alarm, he'll hit snooze twenty times. Maddening! And he conveniently "doesn't hear" DS during the night and/or morning. I'm sure I will accidentally put a pillow over his face one day. Haha!

Testing: I want to say I'll wait until Thurs at the earliest, but I know I'll crack before then.

R/R: This was the worst timing we've had in this whole process (as far as frequency anyway). One time. lol FW just perfectly lined up with DH's 4-day stretch at work, where he doesn't get home until late and I'm already asleep, and then he went right into studying for a super big exam that he just took Saturday. So we were lucky to get one time in.

CS/Q: Not really. It still looks okay for now. Usually doesn't start dropping until about 9dpo.

GTKY: What is your favorite drink (doesn't have to be alcohol!)?  Oh dear, there is no way to pick one. Coffee, of course. Non alcoholic faves are Diet Coke (I know it's terrible), Dr. Pepper once in a blue moon, La Croix. Alcoholic faves are Summer Shandy (in the summer), prosecco, red wine.

R/R: I'm usually a 30 day cycle, but know I O'd late, so just keep reminding myself that, to keep my hopes at Bay.  I'm crampy, with a side of SS. Ugh.

hungover nothing beats a Diet Coke fountain pop with lots of ice. I dream about it in my drunken stooper.  

@BertieMeetsGertie We are dpo buddies. I feel you on not being excited. I feel like every time I go to the bathroom I hold my breath.  Are you doing a drastic haircut today? 
@FLAshley my H snoozes every 5 min for a good 30 min. Just get up already!!!

R/R: **Caution: Pity Party in progress** Tested this morning because I'm super congested and wanted to know if I could take a Claritin D.  Obviously, that did not go so well.  I honestly thought that this was our month and I'm pretty sad. Now I can stop myself from thinking about all of the worst case scenarios and kicking myself for waiting this long to start trying.  Ughhhhhhhhhh.

GTKY: I'm pretty much @Flinstone 's drink twin! I love flavored sparkling waters.  I usually buy the Wegman's brand but occasionally I'll treat myself to La Croix.  My favorite alcoholic drink is a vodka soda with lime.

@FLAshley -I have the opposite problem... DH wakes up early then asks me if I'm getting up before my alarm goes off. UM...no... I got 10 mins. lol

R/R: Had an excellent 4 day holiday weekend- ending with a Friendsgiving yesterday and Cards Against Humanity, which is always a good time.

CS/Q: Happy to observe that my O date is getting shorter and shorter each cycle. Since coming of HBC, O has been on CDs 37, 34, 26 (or possibly 32) and now 18. My LP has been getting longer too- though last cycle was a mess and not sure if it was 15 or 18 days (previous LP had been 7 and 9 days). Curious to see how this one is going to land. Hoping for a cycle that is less than 44 days this time.

I drink a lot of flavored seltzer.

@julesdp YES!! I buy La Croix at Sams/Costco and it's sooo much cheaper, but I have actually found the flavor of the generic brands to be better! I just read after some lurking that a few women got BFNs at 11 dpo and BFP at 13 dpo... still hope!

@FLAshley  I hear you.  Before DS was born, DH and I were at the point where I'd make sure he knew when I got up, I'd wake him one more time after I finished my shower half an hour later, and then he was on his own.  Let him be late.  Also, from personal experience, once you have a baby, it all changes.  They get up at 5 or 6am, and don't go back to sleep- one of you has to watch the baby while the other is showering, getting breakfast ready, etc.

Testing:  Thursday, if I can make it that long.  I want to pee on all the things right now.

R/R:  I had a great, relaxing long weekend.  It was fantastic, and I don't want to be at work right now.

@virginiaham I always thought of it as a Long Island iced tea plus a couple shots, haha.  If it's done right (like a long island), it's AMAZING.  If not, it's tragic.  It has Chambord, tequila, rum, vodka, gin.. I'm not exactly tiny, and I'm tall, and two glasses of this stuff would make me flat out drunk.  We had a bar tender at the local college bar that made one for me after asking for a surprise drink.

R/R: I took a bump break over the holiday, and tried to keep my mind off of TTC, but I went to my 10 year high school reunion over the weekend and **TW loss mentioned** there were many bumps and I had a hard time thinking about where I should have been.  and even on Thanksgiving, I had a bit of a break down because I kept thinking about how I should have been pregnant and I was pretty sad**end TW**.  Other than that I had a great time with my parents, and I finally binged Gilmore Girls last night!

CS/Q: Nope, just glad the days I missed temping around Thanksgiving didn't make it too hard to tell when I O'd! Plus I had a frankly absurd amount of ewcm on O day.

R/R: I have been eating like complete garbage the last few weeks, and consequently I feel like garbage now. I really need to get it together. I'm back at work today, and naturally my office is full of junk food. Also, last night I was browsing the sales on the ASOS website and I somehow wandered over to the maternity section. I'm not proud of this-BSC in full effect :-(

CS/Q: Yes, please take a look at my chart! This is my first month charting, so I've pretty much been taking FF at it's word. So, when FF decided I O'd at CD9, I figured that was that. But now here I am, 18dpo with no sign of AF in sight and 3 BFNs! Looking at my chart, could I have actually O'd around CD16? I've been good with taking my temp at the same time everyday. I'm just confused and really a newb at this. Hopefully my chart attaches, I'm on mobile! 

GTKY: What is your favorite drink: gonna go with Moscow Mule. I could use the booze today!

CD/DPO: 20/5 (well, I think 5 DPO, FF thinks 4)

Timing: -3, -1, 0, +1 (if I'm correct about O)

Testing: Just to demonstrate how dumb Ovia is: Ovia says "8 days until pregnancy test" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... that would give me a LP that's a good 3-4 days longer than normal. I mean, it'd be cool if I could wait until AF were 3-4 days late..... but I don't see that happening. In reality I may test Friday or Saturday.

R/R: I've been stupidly busy with the Dickens Festival. My DH has been sweet by trying to pick up some of the slack by cooking and cleaning more. However, now he keeps complaining about things he doesn't like about our kitchen or cooking tools. I'm like "yes I know. I deal with it every day and it sucks, but you bitch when I spend money on kitchen stuff or ask you to fix (insert kitchen issue here)" At least maybe I'll get some new kitchen stuff now

CS/Q:

@thebookisbetter CD 9 is typically pretty early for O, but that is your most distinctive shift. I could possibly see CD 15 or 16 too.  If you don’t mind my asking, how are you checking CM? Recording more fertile CM helps FF determine O and I know some ladies can be a little squeamish about checking for it.

@adirat @wabash15 @LuND and @BertieMeetsGertie thanks for the love.  The only good thing that came from the break-downs was my DH and I got to talk about it a bit more, and I feel much better going into my favorite holiday season.  This is why I love this community!

@thebookisbetter- I had a similar issue last cycle. I kept getting BFNs and no AF in sight... finally got it the day after DPO 18. Was going BSC though. I figured I may have O'd later than FF had given me, as I had 3 high temps after O and then a dip w/ 3 low temps before coming back up. Either way 15-18 days was my longest LP. Hang in there.. I'll expect you'll know one way or another soon... but that waiting is torture!

Thanks for taking a look! Yes, it's definitely early. My cycle last month was around 43 days, with O around CD28. This is my 2nd month off the BCP, so things are a little wonky I guess. I feel like being 36 ain't helping things much for me, either. I check CM when I use the bathroom-I try to be pretty thorough, but I can't say I am really doing any vigorous exploring, lol. I am also on a medication that dries out my mouth a little, and I'm wondering if maybe it also affects my CM, because I haven't seen a sign of this magical EWCM yet :-(
And sorry about your BFN! Not much sucks more than starting your day off with a BFN :-(
