Not much going on at work this afternoon, so I'm doing research. This is a good list of ingredients to avoid. I will be checking all of my products when I get home.
Thanks @SierraFoxtrot and @endo_mom for the encouragement. I am hoping it works out too. Maybe tmi-- It is day 2 of AF and I have never had such a heavy flow. Besides the heavy AF, my cycles have been 24 or 25 days the last 3 cycles with 11 or 12 day LP. Prior to my latest MC my cycles were 27--8 days with LP of 13--4 days. Has anyone else experienced this? Did you have any recommendations from OB or RE?

@stephann85 prior to my MC my cycles were 26-28 days with a 13-14 day LP. After, my first cycle was 30 days and second was 24, both with only a 9 day LP. I have read many posts from people who have had irregular cycles for about 6 months after MC. I started taking B6 because I have read it helps lengthen your LP. FX I get a longer LP this cycle.

Well you ladies, I just had an early loss on 10/26. Had a D&C done the same day to remove remaining tissues out so that I would not have excessive bleeding. I stopped spotting on Day 7 after D&C. Me and DH started back BDing on Day 9 after D&C and have been steady BDing when we can. Today is Day 10 after D&C. My next appointment is November 23, 2016 . So we are hoping when I go that we get a BFP. Has anyone else received a BFP before a first period after D&C or after naturally miscarriaging?
I'm on cd16 and I have a great feeling this month. My temps have been amazing! I got a faint positive opk this morning and a temp spike but we shall see!! DH and I have been BD'ing as much as possible this week. FX!

@keaton732 It's possible to get BFP before the first AF, but sometimes doctors dont recommend it mostly for dating purposes and to allow your body to get rid of any tissue/old blood. I have a super regular 28 days cycle with ovulation on CD14 and I think I didnt ovulate my first cycle post D&C which is fairly common. My temps were all over the place and OPKs detect HCG and are not reliable. But, if you have other way to track O, it will not hurt to try.
@sparrowmomma24 and @szwill86 we are all rooting for you. I keep checking the TWW looking for good news.
I lost track of who is still waiting for O. CD 8 for me so 6 more days to go. I will start OPKs tomorrow. Ladies.. FX for great timing for all of you this month
@keaton732 Sorry for your loss. I believe @MimoCa got BFP without AF AL but on a rather late cycle day (on the Waiting for AF... thread). My temps finally dropped 9 or so days AL, and FF indicates that I ovulated (timing should have been great), but the gamble didn't work our for me first cycle AL. Hope it does for you!
@endo_mom I'm waiting - Still a couple of days behind you on CD6, so at least another week for me. I should start the OPKs Thursday on CD10, but I really hate to mess with them at work - over the weekend (next) will be more likely for me anyway.
Also, I have an initial RE appointment on Wednesday - OB said given my age, it was reasonable, so we'll see where that goes. I sort of think maybe I should have just started with a specialist (because of my age),but can't do anything about it now...

Have been having watery CM for several days and I think it started to turn EW last night. Very negative OPKs, but potentially a temperature spike this morning (my temps have been wonky sincere my loss, so I'm not sure). Hoping I o'd or actually will this month.
@laeberge3, I'm not getting my hopes up, but the signs are all there. My OB was okay with trying right away after my MMC in April and this one was more like a chemical, so I'm assuming he'd be okay with trying already. We'll see.
Fingers crossed that you get your O soon with clear signs to know it happened!
Okay thanks @endo_mom and @artemis618. Hopefully we might get an AF but we have been BDing two days after my spotting stopped only skipping like one or two days in a week. So we will see what happens
Question.... does anyone know if you can still O if your HCG isn't at 0? I am coming down from ectopic and my HCGs are still high, probably 300-400 range. I have had all my regular O symptoms. I'm probably just imagining it. I guess I'll know if AF comes in the next 2-3 weeks.
@justsuzie I O'd with my HCG level elevated. A few days before AF came my HCG was 75. It can happen it's not common but it happened to me.
AFM: CD 1 here. I'm ok, it's just another cycle without success sucks. I made a nice stew for dinner and enjoying a glass of cab and trying to remain positive. I am going to temp this cycle which I haven't done in a while so adding that tithe arsenal. I probably won't O till the week of thanksgiving so I have a ways. GL everyone!

Ahhh, I got a positive OPK and backed it up with a smiley face digital! I had given up on testing, as I've been checking twice a day and the second line has been barely visible. All of a sudden this evening, I got some bloating and mild cramping out of the blue, so I figured, what the heck and bam, positive!
i know this doesn't mean I'll get pregnant, but this is the first time I've ovulated off drugs since January! DH is sick and ready to go to sleep, so I'm bringing out the big guns...sexy lingerie. I'm sick too, so I currently feel like Monica from Friends, when she seduced Chandler by asking him to rub Vicks on her chest.
@szwill86 I got what I'm going to call a partial positive opk this morning and my temps seem to match. I've been using the Answer brand dip sticks. So I'm really hopeful. I'm going to check my temps tomorrow and if they are still up I'll be joining you in the TWW!
@endo_mom thanks for the positive vibes! Things feel good for me this time around. I'm cd17 and possibly ovulating on my own for then first time in 4 years!

@a2003tiger Your Friends reference made me laugh! Thanks for the smile this morning.
@justsuzie You can O with some HCG but those levels seem too high. I'm sorry your body is being confusing right now.
@laeberge3 I'm struggling with the FB announcements too. There's just SO. MANY.
I also saw my first May 2017 facebook pregnancy announcement. We were due in May and that just reallllllly hurt.
I am having an extremely confusing cycle because my temping is all over the place - I had to travel to a different time zone (combined with daylight savings time) right around O time. I'm back home now but based on CM I don't think I ever actually did O, even though FF thinks I did. I'm hoping to get some normal temps in the next few days (and I'm hoping either yesterday or today is O).
@hartmich FB really is the worst sometimes. My opinion might also be influenced by the fact that it's Election Day and people generally suck, ha! I am having a wonky cycle too. I had a higher temp today, which if it continues, I get CH for Sunday or Monday. I never turned an OPK fully and they're lighter today again, so maybe I O'd, maybe I didn't. Time will tell. I hope you get some normal temps soon!
Do you ladies wait until + OPK to BD or do you start earlier? For my pg we only BD on +OPK days, but now I'm wondering if waiting until +OPK might lead to higher chance of chromosomal issues since you risk meeting the egg at the end of the 24 hours the egg usually lasts.
@endo_mom Have you read Taking Charge of Your Fertility? I highly recommend it for learning about your cycle and how to optimize your chances. In general, sperm can survive for 5 days in fertile cervical fluid. This means you are fertile for up to 5 days before you ovulate. In comparison, OPKs turn positive as little as 12 and up to 48 hours before you ovulate. Therefore, if you only wait for a positive OPK, you could be missing chances to conceive. TCOYF recommends having sex every day you have fertile cervical fluid (or every other day if you have MFI issues, or you know, just don't have the drive for ED sex). My H and I aim for EOD once I see fertile CM and then ED once OPK is positive until temp rise.
All that hat being said, according to FF, they say almost all of their pregnancy charts show sex on at least one day between -2 and 0. So, waiting on OPKs should get you that. However, more sex = more chances (Captain Obvious, reporting for duty). I don't think you're risking chromosomal issues so much as the fact that the egg may die before it fertilizes or no sperm will get where they need to go.
Had as anyone else on here watched The Great Sperm race? It was a British educational program that you can watch on You Tube. It really showed how difficult it is for sperm to even meet the egg!
@RiverSong15 I watched the Great Sperm Race. I liked the way they did it. I got so paranoid that his sperm would never meet my egg afterwards. The sperm runs the gauntlet and the chances are against them. Yikes.

@SP128 and @RiverSong15 Thanks so much for your input. I am sitting now on CD 11 so still 3 days before ovulation. My biggest concern is that BD now will mean having to wait a couple of days for the next time. BD everyday puts extra stress on DH and he feels really frustrated and usually feels empty which leads to both of us being frustrated if he cannot finish. I will try tomorrow and take it from there
I never saw TGSR but I think the same thing is Nat Geo's Sizing Up Sperm. Absolutely incredible what it has to go through to get to the egg. Also, I'm so jealous off all the actors in that, it looked like so much fun :-)
@endo_mom. We BD every other day from CD 10 through CD 20 which is typically slightly before Window but carries us through window. However when I have positive OPK then we BD that day too despite if we did just the night before. In addition we forget the romance during window and just get it done so it not so much on DH
Have just started The Great Sperm Race on your recommendations. Better than watching election results for right now!
For better or worse, I am aged and have a short cycle so O day is right around the corner. Or so it feels.
My SO and I are using a donor who doesn't live in our city so this whole process is made that much more tricky by geography. So far, our timing has been spot on but we're just not getting lucky. Hmmmm...I know I shouldn't get to caught up in the frustration and anxiety but here I am having a moment. My SO is amazingly always optimistic. It seems impossible to always be so hopeful.
Hopefully, this round goes better. For several reasons, we'll have to have a TTC hiatus after this round and that is making me very stressed! Not helpful, I know. Such are the joys of adulting!
@kidria Sorry for the CD1. You seem pretty optimistic too though. And, at least you have a short cycle so the wait isn't too long. Good luck this round!
@endo_mom We usually try to BD every other day when I think ovulation in approaching, my body usually gives me some clues, and then on the days with a +OPK.

@Mack2342 Thanks for the feedback. We also forget the romance and just get it done. I feel it puts less stress on the TTC journey. CD12 today, so I will start trying EOD until +OPK.
@justsuzie 3 days before...that means I need to get started soon to cover all the bases
@SierraFoxtrot EOD sounds reasonable. With my last PG we only BD with + OPK and I'm scared of losing the window, so I guess the earlier the better.
@kidria Sorry for CD1, but every cycle is a new opportunity
@RiverSong15 I just finished watching The Great Sperm Race. I think it was very interesting and insightful. Of course, I am also thinking there is no way a sperm will ever connect with my egg. But a good reminder that it is not going to happen the first time every time. We obviously got lucky in July, but it is not reasonable to expect that it would happen the first time trying after the MC. So I guess that it is reassuring. Thanks for sharing.

I loved watching the great sperm race! LOL! It was very informative for me. Anyways, I am on CD 10. I am going to stop at the store this afternoon and pick up OPK's since this morning I noticed an increase of CM but not EWCM just yet. We will be doing the deed every other day this month till I get the positive OPK then every day for three days.
I need to check out the Great Sperm Race, it seems!
This cycle is just complete ughhh. No cross-hairs, no positive OPKs the last few days, no idea what my body is doing. I've now gone BSC wondering if because it's cold in our house now that my temperature is lower, but it wouldn't be this much lower. It's also been such a stressful week, work and politics wise. Come on, weekend!
Finally at CD 1 after a week of testing and BFNs. I hate how no matter how much you know about this process and know you are not pg -you just hang on to hope that you MIGHT be. Cue me googling malfunctioning wknd for today. Ugh!
@laeberge3 I'm sorry temping is not revealing O. I gave up charting a few days ago as I couldnt wake up at the same time every day. Also looking forward for the weekend.

I got +OPK at night yesterday at CD13. I have been testing twice a day. So, FX for good timing. Have a nice weekend!!!

Still a couple of days behind you (expect I will O Monday), but we just decided last night on CD11 that we'll TTA to get going on IVF (for screening and potential embryo banking purposes) - assuming that BD on CD10 didn't get us KU.

@a2003tiger I hope you O this month! You never know after loss how it'll go but plenty of women do O regularly after loss.
I'm thinking I geared up to O but never did. Slight temp rise this morning but not enough to signify O. So we'all keep HIO, grumble grumble.

GL everyone!

i know this doesn't mean I'll get pregnant, but this is the first time I've ovulated off drugs since January! DH is sick and ready to go to sleep, so I'm bringing out the big guns...sexy lingerie. I'm sick too, so I currently feel like Monica from Friends, when she seduced Chandler by asking him to rub Vicks on her chest.
ETA this...

I am having a wonky cycle too. I had a higher temp today, which if it continues, I get CH for Sunday or Monday. I never turned an OPK fully and they're lighter today again, so maybe I O'd, maybe I didn't. Time will tell. I hope you get some normal temps soon!

@SierraFoxtrot EOD sounds reasonable. With my last PG we only BD with + OPK and I'm scared of losing the window, so I guess the earlier the better.
@kidria Sorry for CD1, but every cycle is a new opportunity

This cycle is just complete ughhh. No cross-hairs, no positive OPKs the last few days, no idea what my body is doing. I've now gone BSC wondering if because it's cold in our house now that my temperature is lower, but it wouldn't be this much lower. It's also been such a stressful week, work and politics wise. @laeberge3 I'm sorry temping is not revealing O. I gave up charting a few days ago as I couldnt wake up at the same time every day. Also looking forward for the weekend.
@TScalei Sorry abour CD1, but FX for this new cycle
I got +OPK at night yesterday at CD13. I have been testing twice a day. So, FX for good timing. Have a nice weekend!!!

Still a couple of days behind you (expect I will O Monday), but we just decided last night on CD11 that we'll TTA to get going on IVF (for screening and potential embryo banking purposes) - assuming that BD on CD10 didn't get us KU.
Fx for you!
