dont worry so much about finding the guy and for god sakes stop being the crying girl at the bar. Enjoy your 20's! You will find him in your early 30's when you least expect it and all will fall into place.
R/R: Am I still in the TWW if I'm just waiting for AF? Just hoping that the next cycle starts quickly so we can move on. I have a phone consultation with the RE later today so I'm kind of looking forward to and also a little bit dreading what his next recommendation will be.

Take chances, don't be shy, and don't drink too much (you'll feel better tomorrow).
@Marley629. Good morning!! :) eta @felix08 !!! GL with your phone consult... all the (((hugs))) you can do this. ♡
R/R: ***TW*** My BFF got a positive HPT yesterday! She's been actively trying for 2+ years and had two losses plus a septate uterus that had to be surgically corrected, and I'm just so SO happy for her. She has her first beta draw this morning with her RE. Now I REALLY hope this is my cycle too so we can be maternity leave buddies! ***end TW*** On the rant side, DD has a cold again, and was coughing from 11pm-1am last night...not enough to wake her up but enough to wake ME up. Once I got the humidifier turned on it seemed to help. But man, when my alarm went off at 4:45 it was terrible. Need to go to sleep at like 8pm tonight.
CS/Q: Nothing to see here really.
GTKY: What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self? Travel earlier and more often; study abroad and just suck it up and pay for summer school in order to do so; and save more money, you don't need 60 pairs of shoes. Also, maybe get married a few years earlier (DH and I were together 10 years when we finally tied the knot) because if you did that, you maybe could have avoided having an AMA pregnancy (still have a chance if this month works, but otherwise I'm stuck there).
R/R: I have had a crazy couple of weeks at work. Can't wait to finish the hiring process for the opening on my team this week! I'm excited to see light at the end of the tunnel (been covering two positions at work for the last 2 months)
CS/Q: None today
GTKY: What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self?
so many things I could tell my younger self, but I think the most important one would be: stop trying to force things to happen. When the right options appear, you will know. The things that come along later are WAY better than any of the ones you're trying to force (job, boyfriend, roommates, school). PS- the one you end up with is someone you already know so just chill the f*ck out!
R/R: my son woke me up at 3 o'clock this morning. I wasn't able to go back to sleep.. I'm sooo tired. It's going to be a long day lol
CS/Q:
GTKY: What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self? if you get in a fight with one of your friends it's not the end of the world, stop over plucking your eyebrows, try harder in school
Testing: sometime next week unless AF shows up. October 6 perhaps..
R/R: Heading to the airport again to work out of town for a week, but at least going up north where it is 60-70s versus the 90s here! And DH is working on the same show this week so we're together.
CS/Q: not today
GTKY: What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self? You cannot control the universe, all you can do is your best every day and what is meant to happen will happen in its time. Worrying, obsessing do no good except eat up your energy and emotions.
R/R: I had to take off work again today. I spent last night all night in the bathroom and I cant keep anything down. In 2 days I have lost 10 lbs and I feel like I am dying. I am supposed to be flying to KY for a wedding this weekend and I am so scared I am not gonna make it

Love this question! For my high school self: I would say stop hoping your boobs will grow. They won't. You will have small boobs forever, and you will grow to love them, so stop stressing boys won't like you because of them.
@Marley629 'and for god sakes stop being the crying girl at the bar' LOL!

R/R: I was responsible last night and stayed up to watch the debate. Now I'm super tired and had to break out the caffeine. Also, our fire apt. fire alarm went off yesterday. DH was home and raced inside to get the cats into the carrier. Our female cat is a bit of a diva and I received several panic stricken texts along with a picture of her trapped between our tub and the bathroom sink with treats in front of her (that she clearly wanted nothing to do with) along with 'pretty sure she is traumitized and won't eat for the next week. Neither will I.' I got home and our bedroom was a disaster as DH had to move the bed and try to pull her out and when that didn't work (she's really good at digging the claws in) he used shoeboxes to push her out. She then jumped behind our couch and got stuck with her one leg out. I wish so, so bad, that it was on film. My favorite text was this: 'I was getting her in the fucking carrier come hell or high water. I heard sirens and was like oh fuck no! Not today!' I was laughing my butt off at their misfortune.
CS/Q: Not really a questions just a comment. Since my chart is the wonkiest, if I put in two more high temps my CH moves from CD 10 to CD 13. I normally O btwn CD 12-14. So either way I moved on over to here. FF always fakes me out. *sigh*
GTKY: What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self? You'll make it through just fine. And go into the mental health field. You'll totally dig it. Oh and when you get to college you will meet a girl from NJ who will become the greatest friend you could ever ask for. So if she wants to listen to Pink's Mizunderstood CD on repeat for three months straight, just let her. One day you'll look back and miss sharing a room with her and her four alarms clocks.
R/R: Rant: it's cold outside. Rave: it's fall outside!
CS/Q: Nah
GTKY: What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self? Love yourself first, anyone else (outside of family) second. Take care of yourself. Do better in school, and go straight for nursing school after high school. Don't wait. I know it sounds like a great idea to take time off but it isn't. It's easier to do it in your late teens early twenties, than your late twenties.
I will be back for comments later, love tits for now.
R/R: Almost positive I'm out. The BFN yesterday, my temps dropped yesterday, and today I'm just above the coverline. So just waiting on the inevitable AF now.

Testing: Still waiting to hear back about the blood test from yesterday. I broke down and took an internet cheapie this morning cause I have no will power. I stared and stared and stared. At one point I convinced myself I saw a superrrrr faint line but then I just remembered I'm BSC.
R/R: My gyno found a mass in my breast yesterday during my appointment. My mom has cysts and two aunts have had breast cancer so she is sending me to get an ultrasound. Surprisingly I am not freaking out that bad (as I am naturally inclined to do).

R/R: A good friend of mine is coming to visit this weekend. Her and I met over 15 years ago at a summer camp, and have stayed really close. In college she met her husband, but they got married super fast (less than a year from meeting) and she was in college still. They then moved to Hawaii (hes in the military). fast forward a few years, and she came to visit, and we got super drunk, and she confessed that shes not 100% happy in the relationship. This was a few years ago at this point, and shes still with him. But now I feel weird around her, and always try to talk to her about it, but Im not 100% sure she even remembers it (we were SUPER drunk). So our relationship is forever changed and I am really looking forward to seeing her, but also feeling weird. Sorry for the long rant, just feeling strange.

@Cait32 Um, I'd be scared shitless if I was that close to the shots! If I remember correctly, you're in Indiana? I grew up in rural Indiana.
@shstephenson sending you the best wishes possible that the cyst is benign. I have quite a few cysts in my body and found a huge one in my breast during my sophomore year of college. It was scheduled to be removed but disappeared on its own. I've also had a humongous benign cyst removed from my left ovary and have about a 1/4 of the ovary remaining.

@bumpybump oh wow, I'm glad the one in your breast disappeared on its own! I don't think mine is all that big. And I've been told since a very young age to expect to start getting sonograms/mammograms around age 25 because of my family history and personal health history (started my period at age 9, and apparently that's a risk factor). So I guess part of me was prepared? Either that or I am so consumed with TTC that everything else is minor haha
R/R: I just want AF to come at this point so that we have another fresh chance. My chart is so pretty but I keep getting BFNs. Also, H woke up this morning with pink eye and I am going to be super upset if I get it, too.
CS/Q: It's linked in my signature, if you want to look. But I really don't have any specific questions about it.
GTKY: What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self? Put on sunscreen.
Month/Cycle: 21/12...although it's only my 4th cycle since I've started ovulating regularly/felt I had a real shot
CD/DPO:23/5-7? I know I'm definitely in my TWW at this point, but I was sick so temping woes were real...ugh. They've been well above cover line without medicine/fever for a few days now, so I feel more confident posting here.
Timing: EOD during FW
Testing: Monday 10/3
R/R: This has been the most oddball cycle for me. Between being sick, missing over a week of temping during what ended up being my FW, and being so incredibly busy at work...it just feels like I'm out because I haven't been 100% in it mentally....but realistically I know based on our timing that there's still hope.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self? Hmm. I would have told myself to apply myself a little more in school, make the decision to go for grad school while you're still in undergrad and the transition is easier, and to study abroad in college. I would tell myself not to worry so much about body image and eating issues, which are a life long battle for me but were particularly consuming when I was younger. Also, as someone who has seen a lot of loss in recent years, I would say to appreciate the people you love because nothing is permanent.
I'm on my planning break and the bell is about to ring. I'll be back for replies later.
Testing: No and I think AF is coming so I won't test this cycle
R/R: Had cramping last night and woke up to cramps this morning. I was also looking at my chart and saw that this cycle's chart and last cycle's chart are so similar. Today's temperature was the same temperature that I got last cycle on CD1 so I'm thinking I'm out and just hanging around until AF shows.
CS/Q: My temp for CD1 and my temp today match almost exactly. Last month I had a 9 day luteal phase and wasn't happy about it but then it looks like this cycle might be an 8 day phase (right? because if AF happens today this is considered CD1?). Is it normal to get a shorter luteal phase? I checked my charts and I think FF was accurate in my O days. Guys, this is depressing. Luckily, I ordered B6 the other day because I assumed I was out so it will be here in the next couple days.
GTKY: What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self? Just the cliche stuff like "enjoy each moment". I don't have any regrets (or at least I'm not going to try to depress myself looking for any) so I would just let my younger self know not to worry about the future and be present in everyday. God, I sound like a hallmark card.
@mamashan12 I would be interested in this too. Especially since I travel for work and had a 40 degree swing this week and definitely put on warmer PJs.. AND I know hotels are much cooler than what I keep my house at... I would also like to know if sleeping with DH in a smaller bed than normal would affect. So. Many. Questions/Variables I can think of related to this. I also started to wear socks to sleep to "keep my womb warm"
@bumpybump oh no, i wear all the baggy/boho shirts too.. the ones tight in the arms and chest and flowy around the waste. Thanks Free People lol. DH says the first time he truly "saw" my body when i was dressed was in my wedding gown.
@Cait32 (or anyone else who is interested) So there are lots of ways you can play around with Charts Like Mine, and it's really a matter of personal preference or your specific situation. i.e. if you had PCOS you could use that as a keyword, as well as "pregnant," and only look at pregnancy charts for people with PCOS and compare. Or on Clomid, or over 30, post M/c or whatever.
I usually start by looking at the Stats tab to see what it the overall percentage of pregnancy charts, and then filter for my average post-O temps, and see if the Stats for pg charts goes up or down. Then if you add another filter, say intercourse pattern, see if the number of pg charts goes up or down. Theoretically, if you had great timing, then the number of pg charts would HAVE TO go up, because you're weeding out the ones that didn't have such viable timing.
You can also choose to look at pregnancy charts only, and just flip through or choose additional keywords to find ones that look like yours to overlay, i.e. similar rise pattern, slow or fallback, dips on a certain DPO etc. You may want to look at only pg charts (not the statistical mix) if you feel like you're putting too many limiting filters on, and it's coming back with too few or even zero results. So it really is something you have to just play around with, have fun with it (not take it too seriously), and see what works for you!
I may have to go back to looking at exclusively pg charts for now, (perhaps especially in the earlier DPO when there may not enough post-O temp information to go by yet), because this cycle I have been putting too many filters and they keep coming back 100% Ovulatory. :/ Counting my blessings for that, I suppose... Hope that helps! *edited grammar
Just stopping by to love tit ya'll and let you know I'm keeping my fingers crossed for everyone! I started spotting last night so AF should show up today. I hope none of you follow me back to WTO.
@Flinstone I wore the baggy clothing in high school when I had a very fit body (yay sports). I just didn't care back then but now looking back, I wish I would have dressed my figure appropriately. Thank goodness I dressed better in college during the day. But may have gone a bit too far for bars and parties. Oh well. I can't stand really baggy stuff now.

If I may add some advice to my past self-- stop worrying so much about potentially being KTFU. It didn't happen. Have all of the unprotected sex! (safely, of course).
Thank you @BusinessWife for the post about charts. It really is helpful especially for me to read on days like today when I look at my chart with a blank stare. I have learned SO much here in the past few weeks, but still get confused and worried looking at my chart and DPO temps.
@jeg07 I used to worry SO much about this!! I would have sex and be convinced I was pregnant 3 days later... sigh. Younger me is embarrassing.
@Flinstone good lord, I can literally promise that on my wedding day SO many people are going to be shocked not seeing me in Uggs & leggings.
@antoto sorry for the spotting. Selfishly I love seeing your posts and I really have my fingers crossed for you next cycle.
@bumpybump I have always HATED baggy clothes. I always felt the need to look "cute" in high school. I seriously had like 9 miniskirts in a CONSTANT rotation. Even in winter. I was the leader of the hot mess express.
is it bad I STILL dont even own a hoodie?!? I went to look for one in my closet and was so upset I don't own one. Lucky for me, DH is convinced I'm his hunting good luck charm and will be buying me camo leggings and a camo hoodie this weekend

@linzrunz +1 your GTKY - it took me forever to get up the courage to get help, but I'm so thankful that I did.

@bumpybump Sorry for the temp drop!
@Cait32 Oh man that is rough. We are in a similar neighborhood and I definitely have had those same thoughts! I don't want to move to the burbs though it really does not fit us at all.
@linzrunz Hey there cycle buddy! Bloodwork sucks and I hope you get a nap or something later.
@shstephenson Hope you get your results soon! Definitely let us know!
You are not going to get any taller, stop wishing for it and embrace it. Workout in college! the freshman 15 is real! Dont go to the school you feel is "safe" and leave Maine, and start trying new things.

@felix08 gl with the phone consult today!!!
@delujm0 that would be very cool to be on the same leave as your friend!!
@kiwi2628 hope you feel better!
@berg on no that sounds traumatic! I'm also regretting staying up for the debate because I'm beat today!!!
@EL824 also raving for fall!!

I'm on my planning break and the bell is about to ring. I'll be back for replies later.
Just the cliche stuff like "enjoy each moment". I don't have any regrets (or at least I'm not going to try to depress myself looking for any) so I would just let my younger self know not to worry about the future and be present in everyday. God, I sound like a hallmark card.
I would also like to know if sleeping with DH in a smaller bed than normal would affect.
So. Many. Questions/Variables I can think of related to this. I also started to wear socks to sleep to "keep my womb warm"
@Saralee797 that is a beautiful chart!
@bumpybump oh no, i wear all the baggy/boho shirts too.. the ones tight in the arms and chest and flowy around the waste. Thanks Free People lol. DH says the first time he truly "saw" my body when i was dressed was in my wedding gown.

GTKY: What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self? You have so much time. Take a breath and give yourself space to not always know what your next move is.
I’m trying to imagine my older self telling me this today. I have a phone interview today for a job I could really want, but changing careers right now would alter where I thought my life was headed in the next few years. I’m not sure I’m ready to make that change, but the job sounds awesome.
@bumpybump i see what you're saying.. i just get into the more boho-ish ones than just straight bag
@jeg07 i hear you on this 100%
