Testing: Nah. I tested yesterday. BFN. I realize it is still kinda early, but I am done. Prepping the wine bottles for AF
R/R/CS: It is Friday Eve!!!!!!!
GTKY: If you could time travel to one specific year in history, what year would you choose? 1961, when America launched its first human in to space. I would have loved to be there so see all the hype and the hope for the future exploration from the beginning. Space Geek in the hizzouse.
Testing: I got a BFN four days ago and a BFN yesterday.
R/R/CS: So this cycle is like a case study in why we temp haha. I don't know when I ovulated for sure, so going off of CM and historical O day, I went with CD 13. Which now I know didn't happen, because my LP is 11-12 days. So now maybe I O'd CD 16? I did have one random patch of EWCM that day after a couple of creamy days... That would put me at 12 dpo today, so AF due today. I have NO symptoms, which is nuts because I'm a hardcore PMSer with bad cramps typically! You're regular til you're not, as they say.
GTKY: If you could time travel to one specific year in history, what year would you choose? How interesting. I can't really come up with any one COOL thing to see, because I think seeing just the general day to day lives of ancient cultures would be fascinating. Maybe I would pick a random day in ancient Greece or Rome. I would've also liked to be a fly on the wall when my grandfather met my grandmother. I would have enjoyed watching the story I've heard growing up, and seeing them interact as young people.
@MelissaM090 - Girl, you're on a roll starting these things!
R/R/CS: Because of the head cold and slight fever I had earlier this week, FF has given me CH for Sunday. I think after a few more days of temps I will go in and discard the fever temps and see if I can't get it to move it to Tuesday instead. I really don't like discarding temps, but I would much rather have an accurate chart.
GTKY: I would go back to 2011. It was the year before we lost my dad and I would just want to spend as much time with him as I could.
R/R/CS: Nothing special going on, just waiting for AF to start at this point.
GTKY: If you could time travel to one specific year in history, what year would you choose? What a great question! If we pretend I can understand old English and can't catch any diseases, I'd go back to the middle ages in in general, just to talk to people and see how they lived. Especially the women. If not, I'd go waaaay back and see the dinosaurs.
R/R/CS: *TW-- child mentioned* Ugh. Yesterday when I was at work, etc, I was all happy because I was like "Oh, I'm not having any usual symptoms before AF." And when I was home, I was sitting for a while watching House of Cards on my computer. I got up to get something and immediately felt those familiar pre-cramps cramps that come a few days before AF and I got so discouraged. When hubby came home, I teared up quite a bit, saying maybe I waited too long to try to get pregnant (I'm 35) and was just too focused on career and things like that before. He was so encouraging. He just said "we are where we are. We can't talk about what we should have done. You did nothing wrong. The only thing we can do now is really try, like SUPER try, the next couple of months and if not, let's go to the doctor and see what our options are. And let go of the stress!" So, from here on out, I'm going to do the temping, taking the vitamins (I'm already taking prenatal) and keep the exercise going like I have been. It's just so annoying because as a teen, all of these school and PSAs to prevent teen pregnancy scared me to death that if you even think of looking at some guy, you'd become pregnant. Now it's like... really? I wouldn't have been so worried then if I knew what I know now. Sorry for the long rant, but I guess since I saw my friend's newborn, I've been REALLY wanting a little kiddo.
GTKY: If you could time travel to one specific year in history, what year would you choose? This is a great question. I guess I would go back to 1978. I honestly don't know why but it seems like there was a lot of good music going on then so I would really like to have been in the disco scene!

@futuremrshp - So sorry for the discouraging feelings. I can honestly say I was right there with you yesterday. I bawled for 5 hours straight. It is so comforting that your hubby was right there to comfort and support you! It makes it a little more bearable when you have someone fighting in your corner for/with you. Sounds like he had some pretty sound thoughts. Keep up the great work with the PN's and the exercise!
@khbear Sorry about the O uncertainty... after talking with my doctor, it really makes me want to give more serious consideration to the NaPro training. You have a person teach you 1-on-1 how to track CM, but it is so specific and the system they have down to a science, so I feel like that's maybe a legit way to track without temping. But I haven't been completely trained in it. I started reading this in the waiting room https://www.amazon.com/NaPro-Technology-Revolution-Unleashing-Womans/dp/0825306264 There's also a link on how to find a NaPro teacher in your area here https://www.fertilitycare.org/ Was I also chatting about this before with you @DoctorDonna ? Maybe you would find that link helpful?
<b>Cycle</b>: 22 temping / 6 ntnp / 7 ttc <b>CD</b>: 23/10 <b>Testing</b>: Starting to think about it, but trying to hold off. I usually will start to get tinged CM anywhere around 10 or 11DPO, so I will be watching that like a hawk and maybe I'll test Sunday if AF is not here. FF has my test date as Monday. <b>RRCS</b>: I could totally rant about DH right now... but suffice it to say, remember the GTKY about what would you change in your house? Well, we do still just rent right now, but long story short, it started with the dog puking up a gross poopy mess onto the carpet and it ended with a trip to HD for a new front door and an ice cream sundae. The good news is, I have a beautiful new woodgrain fiberglass front door! The bad news is, it's not our house and there was really no need to spend all night cleaning up glass and going to the store at 9PM instead of having an early night or getting back out to the office. :/ Too much stress around here. <b>GTKY</b>: This is tough. I may have to be lame and come back to this one if I think of something later today...
Testing: I might test Saturday even though it's 5 DPO so I can have a glass of wine guilt free (I signed up for Bright Cellars and had 4 bottles delivered to my house Monday so I want to crack them open)
R/R/CS: So, I sort of flubbed my chart because the last 2 days my work schedule got FUBARed and I had to be in an hour early, so I used the FF Temperature Corrector to figure out what my temps would be if I woke up at my normal time. With the original times I get open circles and no O, but with the corrected temps and times it gives me O on Monday with solid CH, which lines up with my CM and makes sense with the cramping, so I'm going with Monday, but going to keep HIO with DH EOD just in case. I wasn't using OPKs at that point because I have had multiple 40+ day cycles, so I peed on the CBAD Wednesday and today and they were big ole negatives. Not sure if this contradicts or confirms O on Monday. So, my question is has anyone else used the Temperature Corrector feature? And if so, did they find it was a good indicator of their correct O date?
GTKY: If you could time travel to one specific year in history, what year would you choose? Selfishly, I'd travel back in time in my own life to the year I turned 11, I let mean girls being mean affect every aspect of my life and I'd sort of want the opportunity to slap myself in the face and say don't do that. But, if it couldn't be in my own life, then probably 1532, and I'd go to England to watch Anne Boleyn's rise to power. Anne Boleyn is my favorite historical figure.
@futuremrshp I totally understand the fear of having maybe waited too long. Glad you have such a supportive H! Have you been to the TTC After 35 board? Hopefully you'll feel inspired by the ladies there who are 35 and then some! @Steelerfan78 What sweet words about your dad. I hope your cold is better!
Month/Cycle: 3/3 (+2 NTNP)
CD/DPO: 32/13
Timing: -3, -1, 0
Testing: Used a cheapie for fun at 8dpo, BFN, no surprise. Currently on the road for work, didn't bring any HPT on purpose (home tomorrow night, can test then), but did bring AF stuff, which hasn't mattered yet because....
R/R/CS: ...she's 2 days late. I never go past CD31, but this could easily be a fluke. Trying not to get too BSC. Had to stop myself from flipping through past months on FF and trying to convince myself that I'm off my pattern.
GTKY: If you could time travel to one specific year in history, what year would you choose? What a great question, @MelissaM090 ! Probably 1954. I'm completely in love with the fashion of the 50s, and that was the year that Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn were both at the height of their careers. I'd also probably want to go spy on my grandmother and her identical twin, who would have been about my age and causing all sorts of fabulous trouble.

I managed to start the thread this morning but not actually respond until after my godawful 7:30am meeting. Which is now.
Month/Cycle: 6/6
CD/DPO: CD26 / 12 DPO
Timing: Not good enough apparently.
Testing: I was right to be a pessimist all week. Broke down and tested this morning, BFN. I feel like the universe is up somewhere in hysterics going 'Did she actually think she might be pregnant? What a loser! Hahahaha!'
R/R/CS: Just that above. I guess I just get to enjoy the next 3 or 4 days waiting for AF. Whoopee.
GTKY: If you could time travel to one specific year in history, what year would you choose? I can think of a million moments in history that would be amazing to witness but I think I would get so much satisfaction to going back to say... 1967 and observing my parents growing up, what my family was like back then and what living in my town was like in that era.
Me: 32 DH: 33 Married: October 2015 TTC #1: October 2015 EDD #1: June/July 2017
R/R/CS: ***TMI***Got home from work yesterday and, out of nowhere, had an upset stomach. I had to run to the bathroom and stay there for about an hour or so. Of course I've been reading that diarrhea and/or constipation is a sign of early pregnancy, so now I'm all OMGOMG WHAT IF??? Ugh. I'm 3 dpo! The crazy is for real.
GTKY: If you could time travel to one specific year in history, what year would you choose? I'm not sure. Maybe 1920, the year women were given the right to vote. I would have been a suffragist!
R/R/CS: Of course I'm symptom spotting, but I've got no symptoms to spot! Got a little nauseous after my coffee this morning and thought that might be something. But, I drank that coffee on an empty stomach so that's definitely the cause.
GTKY: If you could time travel to one specific year in history, what year would you choose?
Oh wow, I haven't thought about this question in ages. If you had asked me this when I was ten, I could have given you 6 answers, and all likely corresponded to the eras that the original American Girl dolls represented. I think I'd like to go back to the turn of the century (1900, not 2000) and experience life in a big city back then.
Month/Cycle: 5/4 - tomorrow moves me on to month 6

R/R/CS: well, spotting started yesterday morning and by evening it was weirdly a lot more. This hasn't happened before this early. It isn't enough to fill a tampon, and I have no cramps Thanks body for ALWAYS changing something up every cycle......
GTKY: If you could time travel to one specific year in history, what year would you choose? hmmm....I would love to go back to the year (and day) my parents met. It would be really cool to see how they felt about each other when they first met. They are divorced now and I don't have any good happy memories of them together.

I can't wait for the HVAC guys to finish up so my house will no longer be 60000 degrees. GTKY: If you could time travel to one specific year in history, what year would you choose? To just observe? Probably like 1348 in Europe and check out the chaos of the Black Death. Really interesting event that completely changed the social structure of Europe.
@momtoleo That's so cool! I'm so into her period of history and I love any sort of historical fiction around Anne Boleyn or her daughter Elizabeth. Super jealous of the ring!
@khbear of course the one cycle you don't temp, your cycle throws a curve ball. hope you get some answers soon! @futuremrshp Sorry you are feeling out. And don't worry about ranting to us, we totally get it! @businesswife We're in the same boat. I'm expecting the dread "tinged CM" anytime now. My test date per FF is also Monday. @mrsdramak I've never personally used the temp corrector tool, but I would be hesitant to be overly reliant on it...every woman is so different regarding how earlier/later temping times will have an impact so I don't see how it could accurately predict. Probably a good idea to keep HIO, like you said. @vastra do you temp? Have you gone past your typical LP? I've learned that the amount of days in your cycle does not mean as much as how long your LP is. @melissam090 Sorry about the BFN. :-( I always feel like an idiot after testing, too.
Month/Cycle: 9/9
CD/DPO: 25/10
Timing: -2, -1, 0
Testing: Really don't think I'll need to--PMS symptoms galore
R/R/CS: Ugh, I'm not even gonna say anything.
GTKY: If you could time travel to one specific year in history, what year would you choose? Gah, I don't know. I'm gonna go with @khbear and say it would be interesting to see life in an ancient civilization. That being said, I probably wouldn't want to stay too long!
@MelissaM090 I was sorta thinking late 60's too... my folks were very different ages though at a really turbulent and changing time. My dad was already a bigtime activist. Maybe see my dad in action at the rallies and hear MLK Jr. speak live, I bet would be incredible.
@BusinessWife - I am becoming very interested in NaPro training, too. Since I'm apparently having issues conceiving and I would at least try to see a NaPro doc in the future. The only thing that weirds me out is I would have to do long distance teaching because there aren't any instructors in my area, and that feels awkward. I don't think DH really wants to know a whole lot about CM, either. I'm sorry you had puppy and housing stress!
@GrabberBlue2010 - They met on a blind date and my grandfather was so taken with her he sent her love letters until she agreed to see him again. My grandpa was such a romantic back in the day!
@felix08 - I know right? That's totally how I feel. A month off from temping definitely helped me out with stress and honestly rebooted my sex life a little, but I've like a calendar with my cycle up until now. I figured, oh yeah no problem, I O on the last day of fertile CM and it is pretty much always CD 13. Then this month happens and I've clearly not ovulated when I thought I had! Ah well. It will come when it comes. And about ancient civilizations - I didn't think too much into it when I posted, but considering all the diseases probably running around, I wouldn't want to stay too long, either!
R/R/CS: Expecting AF today or tomorrow. Got the usual symptoms and my temp took a nose dive below the cover line today. Moving on Saturday and all my tests are officially packed up. I am starting to really stress out by how far behind we are with our packing. So, my mom is on her way driving 4 hours to our house today to watch DD and help. She will be here through Saturday and will watch DD while we load up and drive. I love my mom! I was like, I am feeling stressed out and bad because all I am doing is yelling at DD for getting in the way. She was like, I am leaving tomorrow at 6am! Moms are the best. I was feeling sad about moving, but I have definitely reached the point where I just hate and resent everything because I am so sick of this, so I am ready to be out and done because anything is better than packing.
GTKY: If you could time travel to one specific year in history, what year would you choose? I love history, so there are so many things I would want to see. I would probably have to pick something really hard to witness, because those things make the biggest impact. So, something like WWII or the civil rights movement or the Revolutionary War. Learning about things like that really make you appreciate your life and the sacrifices others have made through history. So, I would pick something really sad and horrible. Weird? Maybe.

@khbear Sorry for your weird uncertain cycle! Hope you get some clarity soon. @futuremrshp Oh boy, I feel those feelings! I'm 33 and often lament about not starting sooner, especially since we thought about it pretty seriously when I was 29/30. But honestly...I just don't think I could have been really ready then, you know? I don't think it could have been any other way. Wishing you peace in this frustrating process. @BusinessWife Tinged CM, you are not welcome here!! @felix08 Ah, good to know! I tried temping exactly five days last month. I travel for work 2-3 days a week, and I was either waking up at bananas times, or just forgetting to bring my bbt with me. If this isn't the month, I should probably try to be more diligent with it next month ( maybe start by gluing the thing to my travel bag). And yeah, looking at it, I guess this is the long end of a normal LP for me. So we'll see if AF shows up. Thanks!

R/R/CS: It's funny how in all the time I spent here TTA, watching all of you move through WTO and TWW I thought the whole thing would be so exciting and amazing. Now that I'm doing it I realize the TWW blows. I felt so excited and optimistic during WTO but now after O I just feel hugely discouraged. It's not for any good reason, I'm just the sort of person who will just let my mind go to the worst case scenario. It's hard to stop myself from going there.
GTKY: If you could time travel to one specific year in history, what year would you choose?
If it was sort of just for one day, just to observe, I would love to check out ancient Greece at the height of the empire, or maybe Egypt. As a woman though I wouldn't want to actually live during any other time.
@khbear That is exactly what happened to me when I didn't temp one month, it drove me crazy. The WTO was super relaxed and than what I thought was the TWW drove me crazy. I hope you get some answers soon.
@GrabberBlue2010 I just said to my H this morning, that I am going to need a bottle of wine this weekend of AF arrives! Hopefully neither of us will need to go there. @Steelerfan78 Hope you are feeling better! I would totally discard the temps too, if you think that your head cold altered your chat. @futuremrshp Sorry about the BFN! So glad to hear that your DH was there to support you. You definitely did nothing wrong and it is not too late for you! @MrsDramaK What is this temp corrector feature that you speak of?? I have never seen that before. Is it included in the VIP subscription? I feel like that would be a dangerous tool. @Vastra FX for you tomorrow! @MelissaM090 Sorry for the BFN. I giggled at your universe description, that is how I feel most of the time. @Zoey1019 Why can't bodies just be consistent!! And also, why can't PMS and KU symptoms be different. It really isn't fair. The 6 month mark was hard for me too. *hugs* @felix08 I don't think I am going to make it to testing either! I typed up my check-in for the day and than noticed it was almost identical to yours, so I think I will just not even going to go there again today.
@PepperAT I have the VIP, so I assume it's a VIP feature. I haven't seen it in the app, but if your on the browser you go to Data at the top and it's under "Cycle Data Entry." I agree it's a dangerous tool, but I'm not sure it's any more/less accurate then temping at the wrong time, so I am trying it (only because all my other O symptoms line up with the corrected temps).
@antoto I feel the same way about the TWW. WTO is always full of hope for me, but by about 3-5 DPO, I already feel totally out, and I feel sad that there's nothing else I can do about it for that cycle. Then it's just a bummer-y march to AF! I am working on being more positive and peaceful, but I'm a work in a progress.

R/R/CS: Took yet another test yesterday and will take yet another one in a few minutes. All of the tell-tale signs of AF are here and I'm just waiting for my body to get with the program and let my temp drop. I just want to move on from this cycle so that I can start a medicated cycle next month. We're going to start with Femara/Letrozole and timed intercourse, then increase dosage. After 3 failed cycles, we'll move on to IUI. I just wish my body would cooperate for once. This whole cycle has been weird.
GTKY: If you could time travel to one specific year in history, what year would you choose? I think I would go back to 2004. It was my senior year of high school and first year of college. I would have spent more time with my grandpa before his Parkinson's and dementia took over. I'd also spend more time with my dad's mom and his sister (both of whom died earlier this year, within weeks of each other). I would have focused more time of school and started college with the majors I ended with, instead of wasting my time on my long-distance boyfriend and classes I never used. But mostly, I would have taken more time with my family.
AF made her bitchy appearance today and I'm trying to be positive but I'm just...not. It's nice to know I'm not alone - I appreciate you ladies being so open and honest with your feelings. It's kind of getting me through the day. Wine, anyone? *chugs*

R/R/CS: I am feeling less crazy this TWW, even though I catch myself wondering if little twinges and cramps might mean I'm pregnant instead of AF. Luckily I don't have a million wondfos to pee on and make me crazier.
GTKY: If you could time travel to one specific year in history, what year would you choose? That's a good one! I'm having a tough time thinking of something. I kind of would really like to see how the first humans lived. Like all the way back to the beginning of humanity, and see what is still the same then and now, like what is a real connection we all have as human beings, if that makes any sense. Were they just as jealous? Or romantic? Were they scandalous? Did they have a moral code? Stuff like that.

@MelissaM090 - Girl, you're on a roll starting these things!
CD/DPO: 61/2
Timing: -3, -1, 0, +1
Testing: still to early to think about it
R/R/CS: Because of the head cold and slight fever I had earlier this week, FF has given me CH for Sunday.

Testing: everyday until AF starts
R/R/CS: Nothing special going on, just waiting for AF to start at this point.
GTKY: If you could time travel to one specific year in history, what year would you choose?
What a great question! If we pretend I can understand old English and can't catch any diseases, I'd go back to the middle ages in in general, just to talk to people and see how they lived. Especially the women. If not, I'd go waaaay back and see the dinosaurs.
CD/DPO: 28/11
Timing: -2, O (x2)
Testing: yesterday, BFN

<b>Cycle</b>: 22 temping / 6 ntnp / 7 ttc
<b>CD</b>: 23/10
<b>Testing</b>: Starting to think about it, but trying to hold off.
Month/Cycle: 5/4 (1/1 TTCAL)
CD/DPO: 13/3
Timing: -3, -2, O, +1, so pretty good
Testing: I might test Saturday even though it's 5 DPO so I can have a glass of wine guilt free (I signed up for Bright Cellars and had 4 bottles delivered to my house Monday so I want to crack them open)

Oh wow, I haven't thought about this question in ages. If you had asked me this when I was ten, I could have given you 6 answers, and all likely corresponded to the eras that the original American Girl dolls represented.

Weird? Maybe.

If it was sort of just for one day, just to observe, I would love to check out ancient Greece at the height of the empire, or maybe Egypt. As a woman though I wouldn't want to actually live during any other time.
@Vastra FX for you tomorrow!
*hugs*
@felix08 I don't think I am going to make it to testing either! I typed up my check-in for the day and than noticed it was almost identical to yours, so I think I will just not even going to go there again today.
