GTKY: Do you have a big family/siblings? Do you think this has shaped how many children you'd like to have?
I am Irish Catholic and apparently my parents didn't have cable or that's what everyone says when I tell them I'm the 2nd oldest of 10. Well technically I'm 2nd oldest of the Original 8. My dad is now remarried and I have a 3 year old brother and a 7 month old brother so that's where the 10 comes from but I view them more like nephews since there's a 30+year difference between us. I think it has shaped my view on how many children i do want in a way. I want DS to be a big brother so bad; I think he would be the best big brother but it also helped me want only 1 more
WAYDTGKU: Waiting for AF to leave, Fertilitea pre-O, PNV's, DHA, CoQ10, Selenium, Zinc, healthy diet/increase exercise, Mucinex and CBAdv digital OPKs closer to FW, Preseed if we feel like it (shoot! I gotta remember to pick up more!), and first round of testing starts this cycle. :/
R/R/CS: Of course, I'm bummed about starting over another cycle, but it's always kind of refreshing to reset a new blank paper chart, and makes me hopeful all over again. I found another novena I will print out and start again. I said another one a few times a couple cycles ago, but my prayer life has kind of dropped off since Lent. I know, not science! lol BUT after talking with DH about what the doctor recommends in terms of starting testing, and recalling that some doctors will start with SA b/c it's much easier to rule that in or out and so many other things can be going on within a woman's body, we both suddenly wondered if our clinic would even *do* SA, or what they would try to exhaust first, due to you know, spilling the man's seed outside of the womb. // I just read on Dr Google that they might perhaps collect a sample through intercourse, using a perforated condom, thus still allowing the possibility of conception, while still collecting the majority of the sample. Weird!
<span>GTKY: I just have my brother and myself, almost 10 years apart. DH is one of three, close in age, and his brother and sister are twins! His dad was one of five, and my dad had four children from his previous marriage, I have four cousins in one set, and two in another... we both like bigger families, and think that 3-5 would be great, but since we have a late start in the game, (I'm 33, he's 39), we would also definitely adopt if we either couldn't have our own, or only had time to have a couple of our own. Once upon a time I wanted a whole baseball team of little boys and bat-girl at the end! And there actually is a woman at Church with 10 kids, bless her heart!</span>
I mean... also temping and opks, but you know those don't work unless you...
R/R/CS: I hate that yesterday and today I wasn't able to get up at the right times to temp. Yesterday I slept through my alarm, today I woke up super early because my dogs were barking at the thunder... I just can't catch a break.
GTKY: Do you have a big family/siblings? Do you think this has shaped how many children you'd like to have? I only have one half-sister that I grew up with and a few I've never met (due to their mothers being minors). I only want one or two biological kids and then from there I want to foster and adopt for the rest of my "childrearing" years. My mom worked with foster kids and it really instilled this urge to share what I have and be grateful for it. I've always wanted to foster or adopt kids and I still think I will once I have my first.

R/R/CS: My temp still hasn't shown a notable shift but if I put in a similar temp for tomorrow, it gives me an O day of CD 18. So we missed -1 and 0. Then I helped myself to the FF rabbit hole of charts like mine and all the things. So I'm just telling myself how much I'm looking forward to gorging on sushi and sake. I'm bummed out and trying not to go full BSC.
GTKY: Do you have a big family/siblings? Do you think this has shaped how many children you'd like to have? For my area, we had a smaller family with 'only' three kids. I see pros and cons with all of the options but I'd like to have two or three. The only problem with three is that it makes one the middle child and often stuff turned into two against the other.
@JediAlly85 Do you get a lot of days of no face on your OPKs? I get lots of days of flashing. As in, wasting so many of those things. I'm going to start using them a couple days later next cycle. I can easily burn through 10 per cycle right now. @safire3 Glad to hear that today is better! @kellybean1988 I wish I could answer your question. All I know is that I do seem to be one of the people who has a temp dive on the day of O. @Kenya715 I bet you never thought you'd actually be excited to receive a shipment of tiny little sticks to dip in urine! @mokay19 I hope everything gets taken care of before you have to move! @Kiki75 usually I get a few days of low reading (no smile) then 1-2 days flashing, then solid. I start them on CD10 when I typically get my solid by CD15. idk whats going on this cycle. I guess I may just be Oing late. I hate to waste them too. But I have such horrible luck with wondfo OPK. I can never turn them fully and the lines drive me nuts. CBAD was the first time I could feel confident I was getting real positives. I try to buy the 2 month pack on amazon cause its a little cheaper.
R/R/CS: I have a very, very stupid question about charting CM. When we have sex, it feels like I leak his fluid FOREVER after. So I never know if I am mixing that up with my CM. Help? Told you it was stupid...
GTKY: Do you have a big family/siblings? Do you think this has shaped how many children you'd like to have?
I have one sister. She is my best friend, but for some reason it always made me want a bigger family. We are aiming for 3.
WAYDTGKU: Clomid 150mg CD 5-9, and then all the usual stuff.
R/R/CS: My cramps have become less painful, and my mood seems to be leveling out, thank goodness. Tomorrow I start the clomid. I'm excited, and my fingers are crossed. I was wandering through the baby section at the store today. It was so bittersweet. I wished that I was pregnant, and I worried that it will never happen for me. But the little adorable clothes and shoes! Oh my goodness.
GTKY: Well, that's a hard question. We only had one grandparent, and we only had 1 aunt and 2 uncles that were a part of our lives. The uncles weren't much but the aunt was over all the time, we kind of grew up beside our cousins. We had 3 cousins. I had 3 siblings of my own, there were three girls and one boy. I'm the middle daughter. Then when my parents got divorced on my 10th birthday my dad got with a woman who had four kids of her own. I was raised side by side with these step siblings for 11 years, so I felt like we were regular siblings. Our parents divorced and now they don't have anything to do with me, go figure.
Does this affect how many kids I want? I'm not certain. I want at least 2, but if I had more I would be alright with that. I think I'm in the have as many as happen boat. But my children will have so much love and so much family! They'll have three sets of grandparents, aunts and uncles galore, and even some second cousins. I am excited for them.

@Lecool it's called Premama fertility. It's an unflavored powder and they have other mixes too for PNV and lactation. You just mix 1 packet a day in any drink.
@kiki75 my oldest sibling has lived in another state most of my life, so we see each other every couple of years. He moved out shortly after I was born. We never had a chance to be close. The others, I actually have memories of living with, and we are closer. We get along well, and I think if the distance weren't a factor, we would be close.
@safire3 Support and encouragement are what we're here for! So glad you were able to talk things out with your DH.
@kellybean1988 Yes, I have that problem of wondering what is actually EWCM and what is "left over" (gross). I'm a terrible chart stalker, but my guess would be no O yet? Hopefully your temps will provide some answers in the coming days.
@mokay19 You never need to apologize for long rants here ;-)
@momtoleo I totally get the allure of just "relaxing" about TTC and "having fun," but I'm totally with you--not sure I'd be able to give up all the information I get from charting.
@thj101 I do not have a house cleaner (wish I did), but my parents always had one when we were growing up come once a month. We always had to straighten up before they came (which made me so annoyed as a child...like, why do we have to clean for the cleaning lady? Now I get it.) and they would just clean the main living areas--not the bedrooms.
@hopingforoneagain I usually wait quite awhile (like close to 12 hours) before trying to check CM after sex. You'll also start to get the hang of what is CM and what isn't.
Month/Cycle: 9/9

WAYDTGKU: Well, nothing.
R/R/CS: Not much to go here, either.
GTKY: Do you have a big family/siblings? Do you think this has shaped how many children you'd like to have? I have three siblings, and H has two. We definitely want at least 2 and would probably go for more depending on how long this takes us.
@beary67 I'm glad you got some answers at the RE's! How do you feel about the possible dx? Are you coping okay? Sounds like you have a great plan in place (I'm currently on that plan right now! Only I'll use Novarel not Ovidrel but their basically the same, so I'm told).
*chart stalk request!* and tons of questions in R/R/CS...lol Month/Cycle: 6/5
CD: 17
R/R/CS: *snip* I don't feel like EWCM is very reliable for me--does anyone else have the problem that it seems like they have tons of EWCM the day after sex? We use pre-seed and sometimes I wonder if it's just leftover lube from the night before instead of actual CM..ugh, IDK. I wouldn't be stressing about not knowing O right now EXCEPT that I'm supposed to start my progesterone cream the day after I ovulate, but how I am I supposed to do that when I have no idea if I actually O'd? Is it dangerous to start progesterone cream before you O??
@kellybean1988 to your first question (and also @HopingForOneAgain ): yes, totally. If we've just had sex the night before, I wait until 3-4pm to check my CM, so that I can be more certain what I'm looking at is actually JUST cm. Honestly, it doesn't look like you've O'd yet. This might not be the best thing to go off of, but your CL last cycle was just above 96.9 and your temps are kindof hovering around there. Also, you O'd on CD17 last cycle, which is where you are now. I'd be looking for CH's in the next few days. I may be way off but I'd also wait for CH's (morning of day 3) or after a clear second high temp on day 2 before taking your Progersterone. Not that it's dangerous, but it can actually delay O if you haven't O'd yet.
I'm in the progesterone-after-O boat this cycle, too. Does anyone else with experience with this have other input?

@linzrunz whoops,
sorry I missed you earlier! Hoping you get some good HIO in despite schedules
during FW…that can be a challenge. Good luck!
@beary67 Sorry to see
that you’re back here—but it sounds like you got some answers at your RE appt
yesterday. FX for something to come of this cycle, but if not—sounds like you’ve got a
plan!!
@BusinessWife Sorry
about CD1. My prayer life also has dropped off since Lent—need to get back on
the train. Hoping your clinic is easy to
work with in that aspect!
@PaukMeKiande That
gif tho! So funny. I hate it when temping goes wonky too, that is the worst.
Hope you can get some good ones in in the next few days!
@virginiaham Once
again, thanks for your advice for my questions, I truly appreciate it! Really
helpful. I’m so glad your massage was relaxing yesterday!
@Kiki75 Ahh yes, the
temp dive on day of O. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t. Who knows—and hopefully,
you won’t be able to gorge on sushi and sake, but looking forward to that is
fun too!
@HopingForOneAgain OMG I had the same question today!!!
Sounds like maybe we need to wait a while before actually checking CM (checking
internally, that is) until almost 24 hours after HIO. Cause yep, I feel that
way too.
@Mythril I always
look in the damn baby section at stores, so I know EXACTLY how you feel. I’m
excited for you to start the clomid too and FX for success.
@felix08 Thanks so
much for your feedback! I’m thinking I haven’t O’d either. I need to stop
posting “well today has GOT to be O day” on these forums because every time I do that, it’s
not. Lol.

GTKY: Do you have a big family/siblings? Do you think this has shaped how many children you'd like to have? I have an older brother and a younger sister. I really enjoyed how close my sister and I were growing up, and we had a ton of fun with our older brother. DH has just one younger sister that he barely stands. Because of my own experiences, I'd love to have three or four children. Unfortunately, DH is adamant about no more than two. He's wanting to be able to buy them all the things, including tuition, like his parents did for him and his sister. Maybe I can change his mind.
@Lecool Ain't no shame in it! Hopefully this way FW can get covered and he can go climb another day. @beary67 Sounds like you guys have a good plan shaping up. FX for a miracle this cycle. If that doesn't work, for the miracle of science next cycle! @NurseMarie9 Sorry for CD1. @BusinessWife Sorry about CD1 for you, too. Preseed was marginally cheaper on Amazon than at Target if that helps at all. I'm the same where I feel like I have a fresh chart and a fresh start. And I just read the part about the SA. Wow. If collecting a specimen wasn't awkward enough before, now in even more awkward forms! That's fascinating. @PaukMeKiande That's really cool you want to foster. @JediAlly85 Yeah, I've moved to the 20 packs, too. At first I was all hopeful that just buying 2 packs of 10 would mean that I'd get KU the first round and the second box would be a waste. Hahahahaha. I never feel certain about a positive with Wondfos, either. I'm sure about the negatives but not the positives. And I gave up and turned to Amazon, too. At first I didn't want to share the info with their algorithms but my cheapness has won out. @Mythril Glad you're feeling better. Clomid tomorrow! Yay for getting this new cycle on the road. FX the Clomid does the trick! @MollyandD Yeah, I feel like it would be sad both ways for a kid to be ready to move out and be an adult and have this little sibling and they're going to miss out on each other. Not to mention weird as a parent to be moving one out and bringing one home from the hospital in the span of a year or two. Then again, where I'm from it's more like that but not as a result of divorce or anything. Just that it takes a while if you're going to have that many kids. @felix08 Sorry you're in the boring and lame phase. They call it proliferating, I call it borrrring. Tomayto, tomahto.

Moving is tough enough without adding worrying about medical changes in.
@housewifehobbyist Hi CD 20 buddy!
@momtoleo Glad you found a new gyn that you like! FX that fun dates do the trick!
@leekat14 Happy giffing staycation!
@Zoey1019 Sorry that this morning didn't work out. Baby making is definitely less sexy than I expected, too. FX this afternoon works out!
@MollyandD Are you very close to your older siblings? I'm always interested when there are significant age gaps like that how the relationships are.
@becbec28 Let me know what you think of the tea. I hope it works for you!
@mrsstuessy I would agree to the weekend plan on the one condition that there is a set date that Mother's Day is rebooked to. Maybe make that two days. One to celebrate with the family, and one to go off and do whatever you feel like doing solo. Movie? Cocktails? Whatever. For one thing, if he's bonkers about this project, the 8th is going to be lame anyways.
@DoctorDonna You always have the best gifs!
@MelissaM090 I know some ladies get offended when their Hs clean the pipes but I'm more like you.

WAYDTGKU: Sex EOD, attempting to track CM, PNVs

Getting ready to go home! Have a good one, friends!
@linzrunz whoops, sorry I missed you earlier! Hoping you get some good HIO in despite schedules during FW…that can be a challenge. Good luck!
@beary67 Sorry to see that you’re back here—but it sounds like you got some answers at your RE appt yesterday. FX for something to come of this cycle, but if not—sounds like you’ve got a plan!!
@Zoey1019 thanks, I agree!
@NurseMarie9 So sorry about CD 1. Hoping AF moves out quickly for you—thinking of you today!
@Marley629 I hope AF GTFO soon!!
@BusinessWife Sorry about CD1. My prayer life also has dropped off since Lent—need to get back on the train. Hoping your clinic is easy to work with in that aspect!
@PaukMeKiande That gif tho! So funny. I hate it when temping goes wonky too, that is the worst. Hope you can get some good ones in in the next few days!
@virginiaham Once again, thanks for your advice for my questions, I truly appreciate it! Really helpful. I’m so glad your massage was relaxing yesterday!
@Kiki75 Ahh yes, the temp dive on day of O. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t. Who knows—and hopefully, you won’t be able to gorge on sushi and sake, but looking forward to that is fun too!
@HopingForOneAgain OMG I had the same question today!!! Sounds like maybe we need to wait a while before actually checking CM (checking internally, that is) until almost 24 hours after HIO. Cause yep, I feel that way too.
@Mythril I always look in the damn baby section at stores, so I know EXACTLY how you feel. I’m excited for you to start the clomid too and FX for success.
@felix08 Thanks so much for your feedback! I’m thinking I haven’t O’d either. I need to stop posting “well today has GOT to be O day” on these forums because every time I do that, it’s not. Lol.

@beary67 Sounds like you guys have a good plan shaping up. FX for a miracle this cycle. If that doesn't work, for the miracle of science next cycle!
@NurseMarie9 Sorry for CD1.

We are all right at 2 years apart, so that makes me want a few kids and keep them close in age. Growing up was fun! DH has 2 brothers, 2 step-brothers and 1 step-sister. A group that big makes me not want a million kids...it's exhausting!
@DoctorDonna FX for good results on the SA and hope you guys will be more careful than your gif cause I'd be really concerned about you lol
@mylove071407 Yay for cross hairs! Try to enjoy the TWW. FX for you!
@beary67 Sorry to hear about the diagnosis but sounds like a plan was put in place right away which is awesome!
@NurseMarie9 Sorry about CD1
@BusinessWife Sorry for CD 1. That's really interesting about the SA. Never thought about that before. Does that mean you have sex at the clinic?
@Mythril My fingers are crossed for you as well and I too have an aweful habit of browsing the baby section.
@micshi Sorry about CD 1

@FerForShort Welcome! So sorry about your loss, but glad you are here now! ((hugs))
@mrsdaddario I was saying the same thing about this stupid weather this morning... blah. But DH loves it! I swear, we should move to England or the Pacific NW lol
@mrsdaddario thanks for your support! The dx really hasn't sunk in yet because I haven't had much time to google it!
