My niece is staying the night and staying up way too late probably.. but we are watching SharkBoy & LavaGirl!! Dogs are running around us.  I'm sleepy.

Went out to dinner and had fish and chips...now watching Jesus Christ Superstar and singing along to every word. It's my mom's favourite movie and I grew up listening to the soundtrack on cassette when we took road trips....so every word to that movie is forever engraved into my brain.

I've been watching DH play with his drone off and one for the past 2 hours while watching GoT in between battery charging. Now I'm fixing to have a late night snack of leftover hibachi and cookie dough ice cream. Have to balance the salty/sweet

My sister-in-law with impeccable taste just cleaned out her closet and sent me the rejects. I feel like I just got a new wardrobe for free!! Accessories included. Half the stuff still had tags on. This makes me wish I'd had a sister my whole life!

Manicures are the best! I bite my nails, so I always feel adult after getting them. Purple highlights sound so fun.

So I had a dream that I woke up this morning and my little neice was still sleeping so the hubz and I went to the mall and left her here.. we got half way through walking the mall when I realized I couldn't do that.  And we parked a mile away so it felt like we were walking so slow trying to get to the car to get home.  And on the way to the car we ran into one of the hubz uncles that is notorious for talking forever and was delaying us and I was crazy worried. My phone was dead and she ended up trying to text me. But then my sister was over at my house and I figured out (in my dream) that I had actually dreamt going to the mall and we never actually left.  My dream self had the same dream that my dreaming self was having. So weird.  Everyone is A-OK and the mall isnt' even open yet anyway. 

Anyone else have dreams last night??

I had the most bizarre dream!

In my dream myself, DH, mom and sister were invited to try this woman's new invention to deep sea dive, but it could also go into space. So we got into it, it looked like a big stop sign shaped base and had a glass ceiling that shut individually over everyone. And it was going to go underwater but I panicked and decided to get out. So I watched the glass lids close on them and then the dream ended. So bizarre.

I think part of it could have been because at work yesterday we were talking about that research boat in the U.K. that the Internet named boaty mcboat face. Which I found hysterical, though I know they ended up naming it after some explorer.

DH and I went to dinner last night at our favorite diner, and there was a Dad there with two boys, one was probably around a year old, and was very fussy and upset. I really wasn't paying much attention at all, until this nasty crotchety old man literally yelled to the baby across the restaurant to "Shut the f*ck up"! Who the hell does that?! I was genuinely shocked. Everyone in the place immediately looked over at him and got quiet. The Dad proceeded to cancel his order, and got up and left (I don't blame him at all)! I honestly couldn't believe it. I have trouble keeping my mouth shut in situations like that and very audibly said how absolutely disgusting and rude that comment was. I am still in disbelief that it really happened!

YES! So weird. My dad and his girlfriend were getting married, and apparently I was supposed to be in the wedding but didn't know it until I got there. Then their coordinator was really rude to me because apparently I wasn't standing correctly. I realized right before the music started that the ceremony was taking place on this wooden ramp thing, and the bridesmaids were dancing with the groomsmen (think waltzing) up the aisle and then continued to waltz behind the stage/ramp. It was crazy.

***TW: Don't read if you're having a rough TTC day!***

No weird dreams, but my manicure this morning was kind of my worst nightmare. I went with my cousin, who knows we're TTC. We got there right when they opened, so we got right in. That was fine. We picked our colors and we're just chatting. That was great! I love my cousin; she's one of my bet friends and more like a sister. 

About halfway through, they sat one pregnant woman next to us. Then another one next to the first pregnant lady. The nail techs proceeded to absolutely fawn over these two ladies and asking them a bunch of questions. One of them was complaining about how this current baby is a total accident and she was hoping for a girl because she has 4 boys and 1 girl already. She wasn't happy because she just found out it was another boy. Poor her.

The other woman was complaining that it was her second and she was super upset about it being a girl because she already has a girl and wanted one of each. It's such an inconvenience. Meanwhile my cousin is desperately trying to regaining my attention because she could tell I was fighting the tears. God bless her. I just left but I really wanted to tell them that they should be so grateful because I'm desperate for any baby. They shouldn't talk about their babies like accessories.

@BerkeBaby I'm so sorry you had that experience, especially as you were really excited about your manicure. Kudos to your cousin for being such awesome support. I haven't had the experience of being around ungrateful pregnant people yet but I know it would burn me up inside.
On another note, I saw your hair pic in the other thread and it is CUTE! I wanted to comment when I saw it but I was tipsy and on mobile and figured it might be a mess.

I ate a thing of spaghettios because i wanted to go back to my childhood days. NOT as good as i remember. infact when reality hit and i was like eeew no i am eating canned pasta and queationable meatballs (i just HAD to get the spaghettios with meatballs) i dont know what came over me but im not doing that again.

@LoulieFace I had a weird nap dream that involved @BerkeBaby's book club. We decided to meet in my break room at my work, and I had to explain to my boss that I was just having a few visitors. You both were there, so was @furbabymom2007 and @Lecool turned out to be an old coworker who left about two weeks after I started at my current job which made it even more awkward for her to be there.

I still Love spaghettios, but only when they are lava hot. Once they cool to normal warm they become gross to me.

@KarliQ88 I've done that with too many things from my childhood. Everything is either way sweeter, saltier, or mushier than I remember.

My randomness for the weekend, I had to drive my sister home from the birthday party today and we totally got lost, thank goodness for GPS! It was all fun and games until we approached a traffic circle. I have a huge fear of driving in traffic circles and had a minor panic attack. My 21 year old sister had to coach me through it. I know how to drive in a traffic cycle, but my fear of other drivers got the best of me. I don't think she will want to drive with me again for awhile lol 

 @karliQ88 A lot of things definitely tasted better when we were younger, you are a trooper for finishing that. There is no way I could eat that now! 

 @BerkeBaby I'm sorry that those ladies ruined your manicure! I think sometimes people have word vomit and don't realize what they are saying or who may be listening. No sympathy to them! Also, your cousin sounds pretty awesome, so cheers to her!

Last night we went to a screening of the Dark Crystal at a theater.  I'd never seen it, and I didn't realize it would be all puppets.  I enjoyed it though. 


Today I gave the dog a bath.  I think his tiny trust was exceptionally broken, but now he's so fluffy and smells like peaches!

My random...went to the IL's for the annual easter egg hunt today. I was bummed because poor DH had to work. It was fun (especially for DS) but a little overwhelming because there were babies everywhere. But they were all so cute so it was good. I texted DH about it, and he's like<<<<<TMI alert>>>> "I'm totally going to deposit two sperm samples - tonight and tomorrow morning." I love the enthusiasm, although I'm a bit exhausted.

@KarliQ88 we had blue box max and cheese today...  It just wasn't as great as it was when we were kids. Or in college. 

@BerkeBaby I'm sorry you had such a shitty experience when you should have been relaxing and enjoying yourself. I'm sure your nails look fantastic though!  

@mrsdee15 those pictures are adorable!  I like to keep in mind that my dogs' brains are tiny and they'll forget anything within 15 minutes - useful when I accidentally cut their nails too short and they bleed everywhere  one dog has all black nails and it's ridiculous.

I'm trying to figure out how to get a quilt made from all my old sentimental t-shirts (I have shirts going back almost 20 years). I haven't done a ton of research yet but there has to be a way I can pay someone to do this. I absolutely do not want to do it myself.

@meilay I've seen people on Etsy who you can ship your t-shirts to & they'll make a quilt out of them.

@meilay I've been looking into the same thing!  I have a friend that got one through a website (I think it's called Project Repat) and she loved it.  They send out coupons every so often so I'm waiting on a good one.

@meilay and @mrsdee15My MIL got us all gift certificates for t-shirt blankets from Project Repat at Christmas. We haven't done ours yet but two of H's siblings have and they turned out great!  I'm going through old stuff while at my parents' house this weekend and found a giant bin with a ton of my old t-shirts. I'm thinking I will need multiple quilts now. By multiple I mean like 20, lol.

@babymish It was on a dvd "double feature" with The Little Princess. So I watched that afterwards too. And I didn't remember it being sad, but maybe because my hormones are all over the place, I bawled my eyes out LOL. Gotta love hormones!
