What do you think of the name Carden?

When we told my 4 year old we were having a baby he promptly said, "let's name the baby Carden!". We kind of laughed and said, ok, sure we will. He has persisted with this, I have no idea where he even came up with this name. It kind of became a joke but suddenly, to my surprise, most of my family, including my husband, are saying they really love the name - even better than the name we had chosen, Micah. I'm not convinced, it sounds made up to me. What do you think?

I know a 4 year old that wanted to name his baby sister....Car-Rider....because she will like to ride in cars. Made sense to him. Mom and Dad need to be in charge of naming their children and leave the toddler out of the decision .

Micah is great! Carden is a hot mess and it won't be cute to explain your toddler brother picked your name out past the age six or as an adult.

Micah Carden could be a cute compromise though. I personally give much more leeway with middles than first names.
