I was on letrazole this month (cd 4-8) and went in for my follie check today. I'm ovulating today so no iui this month and just BD hopefully...if my DH doesn't get freaked out about the pressure and can hopefully perform. We BD Saturday so between that and hopefully tonight I will have a good chance. Still waiting for my blood results though. And my hysterectopy got cancelled today too.
I'm thankful that I'm ovulating and things are going pretty well. I mean it could be worse!
DH has his SA a week from today. Our RE appt is 12/7 so at this point we're just kinda waiting around and hoping for the best. I'm currently in the TWW and AF is expected a few days before my appointment so I'm trying to remain optimistic and hopeful about this cycle.
QOTW: I am most thankful for DH. I really don't know what I would do without his support, encouragement, and strength.

I just had an ultrasound this morning. I'm at CD9, but my doctor says I'm ready to go (2 mature follicles, several right behind), so I'm triggering tonight and my IUI is scheduled for Wednesday (on CD11)! I'm SO excited and nervous!!! I'm glad it isn't going to be on Thanksgiving like I thought it would be, and hoping that with the holiday/long weekend I'll get some extra relaxation in so that my body can do good things!
QOTW: I'm thankful for my husband, my 2 pups, and my amazing family who are always so supportive of me. I'm also very thankful for fertility treatments to help people like us!
***BFP & Child Warning***
Me: 34, DH: 38 ~ TTC since 2014 IUI #1-3 (Nov 2015, Feb 2016, May 2016) = BFNs IVF ER (July 2016) = 7 PGS normal embryos FET #1 (Sept 2016) = BFP! DD born 5/30/17 FET #2 (April 2019) = BFN FET #3 (July 2019) = BFP! DS born 3/27/20
I had my monitoring ultrasound & bw this morning. A little discouraged by it, because the ultrasound showed I still have a cyst, and I don't have as many mature follicles as I had in my prior 2 Clomid cycles. I do have one mature, though, and potentially 2 right behind. Waiting on bw results to find out when to trigger and when to do the IUI. If I end up with IUI on Wednesday, I'll be doing acupuncture, IUI, then acupuncture, because my acupuncture provider cannot see me tomorrow.
QOTW: Thankful for my wonderful DH, as well as our dog. The three of us had a lovely fall walk together in the woods over the weekend. I also have been thinking about how fertility treatments have taught me to be more compassionate to others, so I am grateful for the perspective and hope it will be part of how this process has shaped me for the better, in the end.

I am stressing myself out that I am not going to be within guidelines by like 1-2 lbs for tomorrow and they will tell me they wont treat me this month... I am so tired of standing still! Ugh! Of course it could all be ok, at my "official" weigh in this week I was within the limit, but that doesn't help my worries. Ugh I hate this! I'm fighting between calling and making sure they will still see me, and waiting and hoping it isn't mentioned if I am a little over (I had called once, in the beginning, and asked about that, and the receptionist had said she thought I would be fine if I was a little over, but I'm not sure :x)
This kind of leads me into another thought - a counselor I see happened to have to go through the infertility process himself (all of his kids were conceived via IVF). He had contacted a major local fertility clinic in our area, seeing if they provide any counseling for people going through the whole process (as well as people who were successful, who in his opinion are even more stressed out because of fear of losing the pregnancy, and they said they did not. So my question is, does your clinic/doctor/whoever offer some sort of mental support? I'm just curious
@BrightenMySky and @wifeinraleigh28 I will hopefully probably be doing my IUI on Wednesday too. Fingers crossed for all of us!
QOTW - I am thankful for DH and for my mom. Mom had a stroke a few years ago that went undiagnosed for a couple of days, and she is now permanently disabled. She lives with me and DH and my full time job is helping her out . She has been amazingly supportive this whole TTC journey. DH is also amazing, helping to take care of my mom and being understanding that she is here. (He is also amazingly supportive with the TTC stuff)
I am CD30 and based on FF, about 10dpo if I even O'd. I've had some cramping, sore boobs and seriously been eating everything in sight...so I feel like these symptoms could be more like AF. I usually have a 35 day cycle so I have a few more days before I am out for this round but I don't have a good feeling about it. I saw my RE Friday and she up'd my Clomid to 200mg. She said we will try one round at that dosage and then discuss other drugs. I have to say, I felt relieved. This will be my sixth round and it was getting exhausting/frustrating so I need a new game plan and it will be good timing because if this round and the next don't work, new meds will start in January and I am sure I will be ready for a fresh start
Congrats @Al_TwinCities!! It's always so encouraging to hear success stories!
QOTW: I am thankful for my DH and both our health. Other than fertility issues, I feel like we are very blessed with our health and things could definitely be worse.
I'm so close to the end of my 2ww. This short week is going to make it come faster than usual! While I'm trying to maintain a positive attitude this time, it is very difficult. Work stress has been insane: so bad, I was having dizzy spells and ringing in my ears. Im an attorney and there are a lot of large, national changes to forms being used in my area of law that go into effect 1 day after my coworker's due date. Trying to get everything done before the change and beginning to take on her workload has been rough. I don't know how I'm going to do it the next 3 months. I just need to keep reminding myself that I can only do what I can do. I'm not getting paid to do 2 full time jobs, so I'm not doing it. I'm going to talk to my boss the moment it gets to be too much. All the stress I've been feeling really can't be good during the implantation window. At least I'll find out in 2.5 more days!
QOTW: I am incredibly thankful for my husband. I could have never imagined such an amazing, selfless, caring, hilarious, good looking man could even exist. He can make me laugh or smile even when I'm crying like crazy, and he is incredible at helping me put life into perspective and not blame myself for our fertility issues. I'm tearing up just thinking about how grateful I am for him and that he chooses me everyday. I'm also so thankful for my parents and that at least this journey has brought us closer together.

I triggered while I was there so now I just get to wait. My luteal phase is usually about 8 days unmedicated so waiting 14 days is going to be extra fun.

So after the drama from last week (cancelled IUI since I ovulated early), I am feeling a bit better. I place a call into my clinic as to why I saw a follicle on the US, yet my BW indicated I already ovulated. I also set up a second opinion appointment with a new clinic since I'm not too thrilled with the lack of monitoring currently. As of now I am 3DPO and taking 200mg of prometrium 2x/day. I'm waiting until 12/4 (my birthday, yikes) to test since I will be 14DPO, although usually AF arrives before then.

I called my dcotors office to discuss the next round of Clomid since I started spotting today, which actually has never happened on my own, so that's a plus! But I was caught so off guard by the attitude I was given! And the reciptionist in that office normally isn't like that so maybe she having an off day. I am going to talk to my OBGYN about seeing an RE though because I really don't like that he doesn't monitor much and I don't want to keep taking meds that aren't monitored, especially with my Kidney Disease.
QOTD - I am so thankful for my husband. For the last 9.5 years (we started dating when I was 17!), he has taught me so much about how to be happy with myself. I also can't thank him enough for the support through this journey. We never thought it would be hard since no one in my family has fertility issues so it was a surprise and it was hard to swallow but he's been my rock.
I got my bw results and triggered tonight, with IUI scheduled for Wednesday. Excited about that. I also made an appointment for next week to have a sit down with my RE to talk about next steps if this IUI does not work, so I also feel good about that (having a way to get to a plan).
So I already shared that I am grateful for my furbaby. When I did my trigger, she was super cute--sitting outside the bathroom door because she thought I had a treat (I mean, I opened fridge, took a bag out, crinkled the bag...why wouldn't she think I had a treat for her?). Nope, dog, just have to inject myself with hormones, but thanks for your support

CD3 today. Went and got bloodwork done this morning. Going for my usual acupuncture this evening. DH got another SA done last week. Results are low count and low morphology. I haven't seen the paperwork, the doc just told me over the phone. He has referred DH to a urologist, December 18th we go there. Thursday I go in for an HSG. I am glad things seem to get getting together and falling into place, but struggling with the SA results. I feel sad for DH, I don't want him to feel bad for himself.
QOTW- Like most, I am extremely thankful for my DH. He is beside me every step of the way. I am also thankful for my furry boy Bentley. He keeps me sane. Also this week, thankful for my co-workers who never fail to make me laugh. Happy Thanksgiving America!
Had my CD13 ultrasound this morning and FINALLY had a follicle over 10mm! Woohoo! RE is keeping me on low dose follistim and checking again on Friday. She seems to think we'll be able to trigger Friday night and come in for IUI Sunday morning This is my fourth medicated cycle and the first time we've even talked about a date for an IUI. Very excited.

Woohoo! Weight was ok, ultrasound went well, 1 follie on each side (forgot to ask the size), got my trigger shot and we are good to go for tomorrow! My only concern is that they couldn't fit DH in to give his bit there, so he has to do it at home and bring it. THey told me as long as its not longer than 45 minutes he will be fine, but since he is, at best, at the low side of normal I am still a little worried. Still, I have high hopes that the count will be better than the 3.4 mil we had last time. All in all I am feeling good about this - trying not to get my hopes up too high though!
@starlitfae - I'm sending you good thoughts for your IUI tomorrow and for a decent contribution by your DH. My DH has low sperm count too and I'm really hoping we get some decent numbers for our IUI tomorrow. But at the same time, I know there's not a whole lot we can do about it. I've been serving him some foods that I know increase sperm count... like asparagus

Finished Provera and AF finally came today. Wahoo!! Hoping the Metformin and diet changes help regulate my cycle some. Really don't want to see another 100+ day cycle. DH's SA results came back today and "everything looks totally normal." Overall good news this week.
GTKY: I'm thankful for my in-laws. It's so nice to be able to spend the upcoming holiday with them and have some sense of normalcy. My family is crazy for lots of reasons and interactions are fairly limited for my own sanity.
Boo! It's 5:30 and I have gotten 0 sleep. I was exhausted earlier, but I just couldn't fall asleep all night. DH'S alarm is going to go off soon, and I want to leave with him because I'm afraid I'll way over sleep otherwise. Hopefully I can nap while we wait, and then go back to sleep after I get home. I really hope this doesn't negatively effect my chances too much!
@starlitfae sleep is hard! I have been waking up before the alarm every day this week--Monday I woke up thinking we had gone out of town and I forgot that I had a monitoring appointment, Tuesday I was anxious about about my furbaby's dental procedure (she's fine now!), and today, well, no need to tell you. I also think that the Clomid this cycle has made me more anxious. Have you tried guided meditations? My acupuncture provider recommended I do them, I haven't been great about consistency, but they seem to help a bit when I actually do them. I will post a link to one that I like that is short, you can lie in bed while you listen, and it talks about not worrying about falling asleep and the value of just resting.
You got this, though. I think taking it easy while you wait and when you get home sounds like a great plan. GL today! @wifeinraleigh28, you, too!
I'm on cycle day 18, so the DH and I have been getting busy. On Saturday I will go have blood taken to check my progesterone levels, so we will see if the added metformin and increased clomid did the trick. Now I just have the two week wait. Wish I knew whether or not this worked because I would totally love to eat for two tomorrow!!!!
Thankful for my husband and dog!

Just finished the iui, and I have to say I am feeling very down. After 6 months and a couple more SA before we did this, the last one being on the low side of normal, we had a wash with our lowest number yet - 2.7. Which means that out of my 3 iuis, 1 was lower than they like but still viable, and 2 of them were so low that if the re had done them instead of l&d, they wouldn't have done it.
I really think the problem is DH, and these counts make no sense to either of us. I'm really wondering if ivf is our best option. I'm willing to do all we can that our insurance will cover (because it doesn't cover ivf) before we go there, but if the urologist can't figure it out, what other options do we have?
@BrightenMySky and @wifeinraleigh28 I will keep my fingers crossed for both of you, but I think I'm out of the running. And thanks for the meditation, I will have to give it a try asap.
I'm sorry @starlitfae, dealing with MFI is no joke. My DH plans to consult with a urologist if we aren't successful with this IUI, but if we can't improve things then I'm hoping we can come up with the money for IVF. It seems like there is so much more they can do for female infertility than for the guys. I always thought it would be the other way around, but that is certainly not the case.

@wifeinraleigh28 thanks. DH saw a urologist, which is why we waited 6 months for this iui. No testing showed anything wrong, so he assumed our 1 really low wash was a fluke, and that DH was on the low side of normal. I think that isn't the case though. And he even abstained an extra day this time, because he had for his last SA and he had higher numbers! Most likely I will be hearing from my RE next week, after she sees his numbers.
I'd like to join the check in! TTC 15 months One tubal blockage, low motility and Graves disease (hyperthyroidism) Currently benched, on thyroid medication, my first RE appointment is on the 8th!
@starlitfae I am sorry it did not go as you hoped and you are (understandably) down. You're not out of the running until you're out, though, so my fingers are still crossed for you.
@wifeinraleigh28 Glad to hear it went well. I also was cramping a lot this morning and into the afternoon.
I am hopeful. DH's motility & count were good, so hoping that it will help compensate for the morphology. I think a urologist may be in our future, too. I had acupuncture sessions back-to-back with the IUI (and DH and I went out for breakfast right afterwards, too), and then I went into work, which I would have preferred not to have done but it needed to happen, and not too stressful with so many people already out for the holiday.
I also decided with my acupuncture provider that I will ask to push my beta back 2 days. My first IUI AF came a day or two before the beta, then my second IUI AF came the morning of, so I think at this point it is just so stressful to have to worry if AF has started right up until the beta. If I push it back, it's more likely that I'll start AF well before the beta, and if I don't, well, that will be more hopeful. Or at least that's my theory.

I've actually been thinking about the thankful question a lot and right now I'm Thankful for the money we have quickly (and not so easily) put together to do this IUI and a supportive husband who is willing to take this risk during the crazy busy holiday season! DH got a new job a month ago and that is the only reason we are able to do this IUI. God is good. He provides.
Still anxiously awaiting my RE appointment...1 week!! Anyone have any question ideas for me to take to my appointment?!
This year, I'm just thankful. I have a wonderful husband, 2 of the most precious little fur babies, a great family, a job that I love, and a few good friends. I'm hoping to only add to that in the near future!!
I know not every one here is celebrating thanksgiving today, but I still hope every one here has a nice day. I would be lying if I didn't say that I am fighting the temptation to be sad for what I don't have rather than being thankful for what I do. I have enough clarity to realize I have so much to be thankful for and for those things I really am greatful, but there is always that undercurrent of sadness lingering in the back ground. I hope today each one of us can tune out that undercurrent and truly have a peaceful heart to enjoy how ever we spend our time today.
Eeeeeeek. It has finally happened! I got my BFP this morning, and I'm so excited!! Can't wait to go in for a beta to see where my numbers are!

WARNING FOR TRIGGER DUE TO PREGNANCY/LOSS/WEIGHT
Ack I wrote a book! Sorry :x

Happy Thanksgiving Ladies!!

Round 2 of Femara- BFP!!! First beta at 10dpo- 28 Second beta at 12 dpo- ?

@wifeinraleigh28 that won't work for me, DH is an even pickier eater than I am I am feeling so anxious!

I've actually been thinking about the thankful question a lot and right now I'm
Thankful for the money we have quickly (and not so easily) put together to do this IUI and a supportive husband who is willing to take this risk during the crazy busy holiday season! DH got a new job a month ago and that is the only reason we are able to do this IUI. God is good. He provides.
