Agh!!! My crazy body....

I'm so done with this cycle!! It's at the point where most women will be getting ready to have AF and I don't think I've even ovulated! Blah!! The Wondfo OPK keeps looking soooo close. Seriously, that second line is staying solid and dark, just not as dark as the control line. The ClearBlue Advanced OPK keeps giving me the dang flashy smiley face ("high" fertility, or nonstop estrogen surge) but I have yet to see a solid smiley face ("peak" fertility, or LH surge). The EWCM is a happening thing now, as well as some cramps, twinges, etc. And I'm a bit moody and on edge, which tends to happen around O day. To make matters more confusing, my temp went up a little bit this am. Did I already O and the OPKs just missed it? The ClearBlue always gives me a blank after O so I just don't know what to think. And look at all those "H's" at the bottom of my chart (yes, those are all the flashy smiley boxes and yes, I used an entire box this cycle - talk about a waste of $$$$)!!!! I'm thinking I should just commit to starting the progesterone tonight and be DONE but every day I think I'm SOOOOO close to Oing and so I keep putting it off.

AGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

How frustrating!  I think I'm done with OPK's.  They just aren't reliable when you have PCOS because our abundance of follicles are always putting off LH.  I tried to play the game of seeing just how dark the line gets and I just can't rely on it.
I'm so sorry you have to go through this - I totally know how you feel!

    Good luck!

I'm sorry- must be very frustrating to see that flashing smiley morning after morning. I'm certain I'd be holding off on the progesterone, too, in hopefulness.  I'm rooting for you!

@jilligan14 I am so sorry. I can't even imagine how freaking exhausted you must be right now. Crap.

I'm sorry, too. This process is maddening enough when cycles are normal.

@carrieandroy found this great information sheet on CBE OPK. I found it extremely helpful when I was in a similar situation. It is possible that you ovulated but your LH levels weren't high enough for the kit to pick it up. I read on this board that there was at least one woman who conceived with flashing smileys only. Be encouraged :)

@thistle8677 - thanks for checking in! Once I finally resigned to the fact that I wasn't going to ovulate and started taking the progesterone, I felt much better. There's something good about just moving forward and stopping all that crazy waiting. Plus I do have appointment with the RE on Tuesday so fingers crossed I get some new insight into my wacky cycles. Although with PCOS most doctors want to just throw a bunch of drugs your way, so we'll see (I'm starting to think drugs might be the only way when it comes to my stubborn ovaries).

@HisPromisIsTrue - thanks for the info. I guess I could be in that small percentage of women who never get a +OPK but still ovulate. Although in the past, the OPKs always went to blank after O but right now I'm STILL getting flashy faces (even after taking the progesterone for a couple days). But anything is possible really so I guess a small part of me will keep some hope alive...

Thanks everyone for listening to me rant. I hope my ovaries will cooperate this next cycle...
