Nipples on fire!!

My nipples feel like they are on fire... or hooked up to electrodes. This is way different from when they were cracked and bleeding. This pain comes on at random and goes at random, too. Can happen before, after and in between feedings. Having major low supply issues, as well.

Is anyone else feeling this? Any suggestions on how to find relief?

Is there white spots on your nipples or in babies mouth? That kinda sounds like thrush to me. Get in contact with your local lactation consultant asap.

I still deal with this at 14 weeks PP. it happened this morning actually and is always the left side. For me, it wasn't thrush or anything else I found online. I can get some relief if I let my nipple air out, change the breast pad and/or get a shower. Sometimes I think they are just sensitive!

I've been to the lactation clinic and I mentioned it to them. They didn't say anything about thrush. She didn't really give me a possible reason, except vasospasms. Very painful!!
