Week to month conversion chart???

I always keep forgetting to ask at doctor visits, but is there a chart that converts weeks pregnant into months pregnant? I've search on the net and the results are not universal. One said 21wks is just under 5 months pregnant. Another said 21wks means I am at the end of my 5th month. If I count each actual month since I have been pregnant, I'm 4.5 months. Whenever someone asks how far along I am, I've just been telling them in weeks. Some don't understand it when I say it in weeks and almost always ask what that translates into months.

The reason why they say weeks instead of months is because not every month has 4 weeks in it and case in point why you cannot figure out how many months you are. Weeks is more precise because the 7 days in a week doesn't change.

I usually go by the date of my LMP which is technically when the term of pregnancy begins. My LMP was Nov 1 so I consider one month to be Dec 1, two is Jan 1, etc.

There are 4.333 weeks per month, so divide the number of weeks by 4.333 and you have your answer.
