ha, i hear ya. no one likes change and the offboard hurts my eyes. plus, i wish there was a way to view from last thread started but i don't think you can and that makes me sad.

I seriously doubt this off-board is going to take off. I could be wrong, I suppose. I think it'll just be the same little clique of posters. It's not like anybody coming up from other boards is going to automatically ditch the bump for a random off-board.

This board may get quiet for awhile, but that will change. Of course, by that time, I'll be gone. Such is the circle of life on the bump.

I think most people will straddle.

I think there will also be some who really get into the offboard and the vast majority won't and will be back. I don't think that sort of board can really maintain that many people. Friendships will form and the rest will probably be back here.

That really annoys me too. I think I am going to straddle for a while and see how it goes. I dont like change either, but I dont want to stay here if it is going to be dead.

I agree! Why are we letting the care-a-lot clan move everyone out? I don't understand why people even read what they post or let it get to them. I wish everyone would come back because I don't know how to navigate the off board yet either.

I'm straddling, but that's mostly because I'm posting over on TTGP. I like the new board and the fact that non-registered users can't see the posts (and not accessible from Google, as far as I can tell). I also like being able to swear freely...hahahaha.

No, I intro'd a couple of weeks ago. I posted on TN with a different s/n (brinreetardo). I mostly stick to MN but lately I have felt like branching out. For the record, my daughter is 9 months and 1 week old.

I cannot (and will not...cause well...I'm just like that) ignore stupidity. So for me, just ignoring it, does not work. I feel like some of these posts should be signed LYLAS, because I feel the mindset is in that age range.

My guess is that it'll be a bit quiet around these parts for a little while, as people figure out if they like the off-board. Most people won't stop posting here completely, it'll just slow down and the off-board will be busy. But once the shiny wears off, or if that board is too dominated by personal relationships (good or bad), the majority of people will go back to posting here most of the time.

Also, pretty much everyone will come back to read and/or post whenever there is drama here.

That seems to be the way it usually goes with off-boards.

I like the new board for it's features. TB is honestly one of the worst forums I have ever used. Imagine not having to page someone to tell them they have a message, lol. You can curse, you can click a little icon that brings you to the threads most recent post, so you don't have to manually scroll and try to figure out where you are.... I'm honestly shocked I have been at TB so long, I didn't last when I was on TN because of those exact issues.
