Ovulation pain worse since birth?

I was always able to feel ovulation prior to BFP, and it was always uncomfortable, but nothing terrible.

Holy cow, since I have had my son, it is CRIPPLING. At first I thought maybe I just wasn't used to it anymore because I hadn't done it in 9 months, but no - this is WAY worse than it was before. DH and I have had to cut plans short to go home and rest for this - I never had to do that before.

Has anyone else had this? Does it lessen over time? My doc acted like it was normal, but none of my female friends have had it...
