Sorry to hear that you've been diagnosed with PCOS... I have as well.

If you are being properly monitored on the clomid, you may want to edit your post to add that... Otherwise you are going to get a lot of comments about that. If you aren't... Then stop taking it until you've seen an RE and are monitored. It's not worth the risks otherwise.

As to the symptoms, the same hormone that causes "early pregnancy" symptoms also causes PMS symptoms, so no one can guess which you are experiencing. If you want to commiserate with others on such symptoms... Check out the TWW posts that go up every day.

Pregnancy tests are more reliable the closer you are to when AF is due to come. FRERs (First Response Early Response tests) and the most reliable early on.

The newbie blog has lots more info on such things... Poke around on it.

    Best wishes for you!

To try and some up everyone's coments. Yes I have done an HSG and all of the blood tests and such. I was diagnosed PCOS many years ago so it wasn't this doctor. I only asked if it was early signs cause I read that some women on the medicine had similar symptoms before a missed period. Not to be assumed that I or my doctor have no idea what were doing. Some simple words would of been sufficient, instead I feel a bit offended. I wasn't just given clomid and sent on my way I spent months doings tests before I even seen the RE. I'm military, and I was told that the infertility specialist here on post is one of the best programs in the country and I've checked the reviews. So I think I'll trust them. Thanks

Also when I said my calendar says when I'll get my period. I assumed everyone we know it's when my period is predicted/expected. Thanks

The calendar apps that track your periods and give guesses as to your fertile days and expected period days are not based on any scientific backing. So the large majority of women here will assume that if you are using a calendar to guess when you get your period - that you are not tracking your BBT and other fertility signs.

The post that says READ THIS BEFORE YOU POST. includes the blog that explains what BBT tracking is and why it's better than a period tracking application.

So unless you track your basal body temp and you actually know your CD, O day, etc.... no one will take your prediction seriously. because science.

eta: if you have a chart to provide - please share as it will prevent confusion.

I'm not 100% sure the exact day I ovulated this month. I think I had expired opt ' s or something when I peed on the stick none of them showed anything. So I payed attention to my (sry for tmi) cervical mucus. But still had sex every other day. Usually when my period is expected I get it one to two days late or so.

I have PCOS and have taken a round of Clomid and two of Femara while being monitored. I went in for CD12-14 day ultrasounds. 7-10 days after I saw a positive OPK, blood work was done to confirm ovulation. This is at minimum what should be happening to monitor you properly on Clomid.

Also, other tests like a Femvue ultrasound to make sure your tubes are cleared and SA on partner should be done. If you have blocked tubes or there is something wrong with partner, take all the clomid you want but it won't help.

@Nayzer‌, the group of women here are really the best. You can learn a lot here. I suggest that you take this info back to your doc, or even another doc that is willing, and start monitoring. This is actually a good thing because now you know!

    <marquee>I WAS BEING SARCASTIC</marquee>

Just checking to see if that code works.

    Edit:  Nope.
@CLECyclist Probably a good thing, 'cause I'd have some major HTML abuse on my hands if it did. ;)
