Both my kiddos are sick today with a really nasty wet cough. No other symptoms except a slight fever. The cough sounds miserable though. Poor kids.

LO soaked through both layers of his pajamas. Ew. I think we need to go up to size 3 for night. I'm on my last sleeve of size 2s anyway.

Had to be at work early for an interpersonal relations class, so up earlier than usual. Of course today babyG was still asleep at 7:45... I'm just imagining the sleep I could have been enjoying and knowing that he won't be sleeping so well again tonight

Morning lovelies. 

Okay night here. W was fine, I was the one waking up every few hours for no reason whatsoever.

I need to go to Verizon this morning to see about my phone. Then this afternoon, we are venturing to the library where I also think there is a park. That's about it for my plans. I had a good talk with my sister who lives in Australia about my fears/anxiety about being in a new city. I mean, she moved to AUSTRALIA without ever having lived in that city*, so who better to understand how I'm feeling?

I'm also waiting for those professional photos to be done!! It should be any day now. 

ETA: I realize that Australia is not a city, lol. I meant the specific city in Australia where she lives.

Good morning!

It's a busy morning at the pudding house. I've done 3 loads of laundry, fed the kids, and actually got to enjoy a cup of coffee. Now I have to straighten up a bit and do the dishes before the maintenance man comes over to install a bunch of new things in our apartment. This includes a brand new microwave over our stove! I'm really excited for this.

Also, my 3yo is running away from LO because he's trying to get his toys. M keeps gathering all of his stuff in his shirt, and running to a safer part of the living room away from LO. Quick to follow is little M, hot on his trail. 8-X It's really cool to be able to watch them play together though.

The other day they were "fighting" over the InnoTab. Big M wanted to show me his memory card learning game, and little M wanted to eat the tablet. My automatic response was, "If you two can't share, or play without fighting, then I'm taking it away and neither of you will get it." Before I realized what I had said, my DH started cracking up because "I'm such a Mom." 8-}

good morning yall! C slept until 8 today! but i think its because he was up every hour and had no bueno sleep. im pretty sure his sleeping is getting way worse, not better. so here we go..

@laurlaurlaur have a safe trip!!

@jammersC try telling them you have an appointment(even thought you dont) a friend of mine works at the DMV and thats his little trick to get in quickly. especially if you have three kids with you!

@elf828 if they don't want the munchkins ill take them!

@armfruit omg i have the hardest time keeping up with LO! he's EVERYWHERE and into everything all at once. and now when he knows when he's going somewhere he shouldn't (he pushes the bathroom door open and tries to climb up on the toilet...eww gross) he crawls faster!! little bugger. 

@codypup good luck on your adventure to wal mart and the library! hopefully they both are good and struggle free. being in a new place is hard. i'm sure one morning you're going to wake up and its just going to be home. 

@disneypeanut i'm trying to talk my nieces into going to frozen on ice too! they're "too old", but i don't care! i want to go see it! i'm thinking about getting the youngest tickets for Christmas and shell be excited and ill get to take her!! 

@bluedot818 ooooh kids say the darnedest things! im not excited for LO to start talking and repeating the bf. im going to be so embarrassed all the time. i just know it. 

@cara5565 try taking some vitamin d! my grandpa's nurse was just telling me that vitamin d kicks butt when youre sick. she said to take like two in the morning and two at night. but i hope you feel better soon

Just popping in to say HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   :-h :-h :-h

I am so so so sorry I haven't been around much.  Last week I was catching up from being OOT and LO had a cold.  This week LO is teething and rarely wants to be put down.  We've also been having lots of fun with new friends from Meet-Up.  

Anyway, everything is going fine here.  So sorry I haven't been here for some of you.  Just wanted to let you all know I think about many of you even when I don't check in for a while.  You girls are important to me and I am sorry.   Hopefully when the teething stops our routine will normalize and I can go back to bumping more regularly.

i have so much to do today to get ready for our trip to yuma tomorrow. but id rather just bump and play with LO instead. why wont the laundry do itself and then get in the suitcase on its own? hmm!? 

i cant wait for tomorrow though. i'm so excited even though were just going to Yuma to go to the open air market. 

oh! were going to Cracker Barrel and its going to be my first time. im super excited. i love new restaurants.

@sjelwood Yes, I actually had my appointment on the 8th. They drew some labs, and I went in yesterday for a follow up. According to labs, everything looks normal. Apparently I'm just doing something really, really wrong day-to-day. According to the doctor's scale, in 2 weeks I gained 6 lbs. Not that I was actively trying to lose (I wasn't), but I was at least thinking I was making healthy choices--skipping seconds, etc.

Need to buckle down and work harder, it seems!

we did!! We walked to the park, did a little swinging! It was great! Thank God for the sun!!

Just FYI...it's a state reg here that at dc kids go out everyday unless of inclement weather. So they go out even in the snow if it's not nasty or too windy.

Can not drinking enough water give you a headache? I've had a nasty headache for about 24 hours, and also last night I only pumped 1 oz (total). I'm wondering if I didn't drink enough water. I'm trying to do extra today just in case.

I'm drinking a ton. LO seems satisfied when he nurses, so that kept me from panicking about the low pump output.
