I posted looking for guidance from women who may know what I'm going through. People here have given me an incredibly negative first impression. I'm disappointed to say the least.
I read the thread you posted. There is a lot of bad information on the internet. You came to this forum to see if other women had a similar experience, and they haven't. You were told you would be able to turn a test if you were in fact pregnant, which is true. And someone told you that the claims that antihistamines cause a false negative are unfounded, which they are.
I'm not sure which response you had a problem with, but it sounds like you got some good advice.
This community is not about giving women ttc false hope. I'm sorry if that's what you were expecting.

And I am surprised that you feel those responses were negative. You got good advice, just not what you wanted to hear.

OP, I also read your original post and agree with everything @kayway85 said. This board is full of smart, witty women, and I encourage you to lurk and get the feel of the board. I learned so many things - more things than I can count - about TTC from this group of ladies. Thankfully, they're funny in the way they present the information so we can all have the best tools to help us achieve pregnancy, if that's the reason for participating on the board.
As I've said before to many other new posters, think of it this way - Imagine if you were part of a conference, lecture, or seminar and everyone was sitting in the same room having an active conversation, and someone just came in and immediately starting talking. Not only that, but the seminar was lesson 4.0 and you started asking 1.0 questions to the entire conference room. Awkward.
People gave you great advice. They're supportive, fun, and encouraged you the best way by not giving you false hope. I'm sorry for your loss. Good luck!
I love how "not being told what you want to hear" = negative. Sorry, but this isn't a blow smoke up your ass kinda forum. There are so many others out there that will do that, no one is forcing you to stay here if you prefer to be lied to. Babycenter is likely more your speed, they pretty much exist on squeeees and glitter and false hope.

I'm so sorry. Forget these losers, take my hand and follow me to Yahoo Answers.

I feel it's more like you walk into the seminar and start telling everyone about your great idea and then get all pissed off when people point out that it's against code, illegal, impossible, and so on when it is indeed those things and very minor amount of research from legitimate sources would have told you that.
Then you claim again that it's not and it will work and they ask you to cite where you received the information that it is allowable and you refuse to fill them in on the sources. In the mean time they are doing their own quick research and are unable to find what you are claiming. So instead of going with your plan that might land them without jobs or in jail, they go with the information they can back with good sources and proceed with an idea that makes more sense.
I've never had the same experience. However, even if I had it means absolutely nothing for you. Your body is not mine.
Bodies are weird, confusing things. Sometimes they do things that make us crazy.
I think you are seriously overreacting. Stop it.
Also, please stop waving any loss you may have experienced in people's faces. Loss does not entitle you to behave in rude ways because folks aren't jumping on your questionable information train to tell you that the negative HPT is lying.
Do we still tell people not to use their real names as their SN...?
I for one think that if they're acting like a busted incandescent bulb and can't figure out they're exposing themselves to the internetses by having their name in their username it's sort of the Darwin awards of character going on here. Then again I'm not very nice
So fucking good and very "fally" if that's a thing.
I have everything to make this, and am now going to. I just can't deal with cooking meat, but I know that we will need to have dinner, so a hands off thing is great and I think H will like it. Thanks!

Looks like we have something in common. Your post didn't impress me either. I'm disappointed.
I am game. We are having pulled pork sandwiches with an undetermined side, maybe fruit salad.

OP: Please, I am asking nicely, change the title of this thread to WFD. You will probably like the responses better.
----//-----
What pulled pork recipe do you use? We're having a party Sunday and I want to make pulled pork sandwiches to have. We need to feed about 20 adults and 12 kids (ages 5-18 months).
We're having a turkey, black bean skillet with my home canned tomatoes (my first batch ever! I'm proud) over brown rice.
Edit - quote fail
We usually take a giant pork butt, put it in the crockpot for 8-10 hrs. Then take it out, shred whatever doesn't fall apart on its own, then slather it in BBQ sauce.
This is what I do. I season the pork in the crock pot, put in a can of Dr. Pepper and cook on low for 8-10 hrs. When it is finished I shred and use for pulled pork sandwiches (just add bbq sauce), in enchiladas, quesadillas, tacos and burritos.
I'm just gonna throw this out there: you should probably read most of a post before responding. You'd be surprised where the last 2 posts you commented on went.
I agree with you. I'm getting tired and the last few days have been really hard on me. I guess I am just being lazy tonight

Does the bacon actually get "crispy"? I can't stand rubbery bacon, and I feel that's how it would turn out in the crock pot.
If it gort crispy I'd be surprised. Maybe crisp it up in a pan first?
This is the greatest thing I've seen all week. I showed DH and he laughed his ass off.
