I'm thrilled to announce my 2nd beta was 70! :) it more than doubled from 2 days ago at 27. My RE checks every 4 days until the number is over 1500, so the next draw will be Monday! We also scheduled our first appointment with an ultrasound for Nov. 10th at 6 weeks 3 days. I know things can change instantly, but I really have a feeling this is our rainbow!

Hello Ladies! I apologize if this is a little long! I'm just so excited!

I can't believe I'm here! A huge thank you to the wonderful, knowledgeable, supportive women over on TTCAL. I can't imagine having gone through the last 6 months without all of you. Huge hugs!

Most of my info is in my siggy but I'll recap. I'm 22, DH is 23. I had a MMC in March, followed by a D&C 3/25.

June we started TTC. August I was dx with Hashimoto's. My cycle was super heavy, long and irregular so my OB sent me to my RE (who I love). Since then I've been dx with hypertension - started methyldopa, dx pre-diabetes - started metformin, had a HSG, and we were scheduled to start clomid next cycle.... But here I am!

I got both wonfo & FRER +'s this morning at 11DPO. Confirmed by HCG - 27, progesterone 26.6. My RE will check my HCG & prog every 2 or 4 days until a uterine pregnancy is confirmed at 6 weeks.

I'm certainly not complaining, but I'm starting progesterone sup tomorrow which seems odd to me. Has anyone else been put on progesterone even when their numbers were fine?

IVF #1 Oct/Nov 2013: Long Lupron with Gonal-F. 7R, 7M, 7F. 2 txfer@3d. Nothing frozen.  => M/C @ 8 wks. :'( Selected RPL panel all normal. Very hyper and brittle response to stims. IVF #2 (antagonist protocol) Feb 2014 => Converted to IUI (Perfect conditions). BFN. IVF #2.1 w/ new RE June 2014: Antagonist protocol. 33R, 31M, 30F, 19 blasts to test!!! I made it through without crashing!! :) Hats off to Dr. Fancypants!! ET of one 5AB blast. BFN. 13 10 CCS'ed snowflakes! FET #1 PUPO as of 7/29 Betas: 8/7@24, 8/9@97, 8/11@334 (etc.) Two sacs on 8/15, one seen on 8/18 after a bleed. U/s 8/25 (6+3) "perfect": 5.9 mm + HB@120bpm! U/s 9/4 (7+6): 15.9 mm + HB@172 bpm! Please, PLEASE stick this time!!!!

    Welcome and Congrats! My first progesterone draw was 31 and I'm on oral progesterone. The level can really vary at different times and doc said it can't hurt. Plan is to stop at 12 weeks.

    Congrats and welcome! From my limited understanding, your body will just rid itself of excess progesterone, so some doctor's prescribe it as a support measure,

    Congrats & welcome! My RE puts all his loss patients on progesterone regardless of their level. If you're in the normal range he just waits until bfp to start it. It's just a precaution. So glad to see you over here!

       Me: IR-PCOS, elevated DHEAs, low progesterone, weak ovulation  DH: low volume, low T
    SHG 5/10/13: both tubes blocked; HSG 6/28 = Left tube cleared! Right blocked.
    BFP#1 7/20/13 EDD 3/30/14, m/c 8/19/13, D&E 8/21/13, Chromosomal results = normal, female
    Lap & hysteroscopy scheduled for 10/31, right tube cleared, no endo found! ...Happy Halloween!
    Cycle 14: Clomid (50)+ IUI = BFP! EDD 9/16/14~ Rowan Elizabeth born sleeping at 17w4d on 4/12/14 due to IC.
    ~There is no foot too small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world~
    New RE June 2014. RPL b/w - negative. SIS looking for uterine/cervical abnormalities & Asherman's 6/10/14 - ALL CLEAR!

    Congrats and welcome! Like PP's progesterone is just a standard "can't hurt, might help" protocol for all of my OB's loss patients regardless of levels.

    Congrats & welcome!!

    My numbers were fine and I was on progesterone. It's pretty common for RE's to give prog supps, it's more along the lines of it can't hurt and it could help, so why not.

    Also, you're early right now, but pay attention to your BP. Pregnancy tries to make the body the best poss environment for baby & naturally lowers bp. I was on methyldopa but my ob had me stop it at 12wks. I haven't needed any bp meds since.

    Congrats and welcome! I take progesterone, but have very low progesterone, so I don't have any advise.

    Current plan: IVF with PGD. Antagonist - Vivelle Protocal. Stim start 12/1. ER 12/14.

    My progesterone levels seemed fine, but after 3 consecutive losses, my doctor had me take it to see if it made a difference.  I'm 40w3 days today, so it doesn't hurt to try it! 

    Me: Endometriosis, PCOS, Insulin Resistance, Estrogen Dominance, Irregular Cycles
    DH:  100% Abnormal Sperm Morphology
     BFP #1 (Surprise!)  "Monkey"- 09/16/2006. DS born 06/01/2007.

    Congrats and welcome! My progesterone was never tested, but was started on suppositories as a precaution.
