I just went through this myself. Everything looked perfect on the ultrasound but my bloodwork put me at 1 in < 5 risk that my baby would have T13 or T18. We went to a genetic counselor and opted to have the Harmony test done in advance of something invasive like amino. I got my results last week and I screened negative for all three major trisomies. Hoping for the same outcome for you!
Sending you positive thoughts! I hope everything turns out okay!
Question to others: why do they give the results like that? 1 in 30 sounds much scarier than 3%. Is there a reason they give results this way? Just curious.

@catlover790 everyone has a risk ratio based on their age and genetic family history. they use these parameters to determine when additional testing is needed. When the likelihood is high enough for concern.
For example Prior to testing my T18 risk was 1:900, anything of a ratio 1:100 is a red flag. After my testing the results were 1:30. It sounds scary because it is.
Update: I spoke with my doctor this morning and the good news is that the scan looks good--measurement of 2.7 (I guess higher than 3.5 they worry) and the baby had a nasal bone (I guess most T18 and T21 babies are lacking one) its my blood work that is cause for concern. I am going to see a High Risk Specialist tomorrow to go over additional testing options. Hoping I get some sort of good news tomorrow!

I think they're trying to say that it happened to 1 in 30 people. I prefer reassessing & think of it as 3%, since it sound smaller. However, the medical community doesn't necessarily want to say you have 3% chance
I am sorry you have to suffer through such stress too. As though just being pregnant isn't stressful enough. I just had my 2nd check up at 14 weeks. NO heartbeat. I Don't understand what happened. The last US was fine. Apparently my baby died between 10.3 & 10.5 weeks. I still feel pregnant. I still look pregnant. I have to have a DNC Thursday. I don't even know what that stands for. I have two beautiful children already. They have been so excited about this baby. I haven't even told them yet. I don't even know how. I'm sorry. I am a mess.
I had this happen to me as well, I had to go in to take verify test because of the fact our baby was high risk according to that test. I cried all day and night worrying sick about this. However, 10 days later: everything is fine!!! Yay:) just remember the first test was not a diagnostic test!!!! The verify test is which I guess you'll take next, there's positives to this test you'll find out the gender when you get the results:) a lot of women have this happen to them just try to stay positive:) hopes and prayers for you and your family!

Focus one the numbers, 3% is quite a tiny chance
