I bought a 3 day treatment but on day 1, the stupid suppository fell out into the toilet! I guess I didn't put it in far enough..
I am not 100% sure I have a yeast infection but I've had irritation/itching for a week now so I figured I'd do a treatment. So now I either buy another treatment to get the 3rd suppository, or I only do 2 days and hope for the best. It's been a long time since I've had one and I've always done the entire treatment.

I personally always do the entire treatment. I get yeast infections pretty regularly (thanks to a round of antibiotics about 5 years ago).
Do you not have the diflucan pill available easily? That's the easiest way to get rid of it, one pill, orally, done.
I've never heard of that pill. Do you have to get it through your dr?

There are OTC yeast pills at the pharmacy where I live. The suppositories work better, but the pill might be a cheaper alternative than buying a whole Nother round of suppositories.
I have to get it through a prescription thrrough my doctor. I just had one and with the pill, I had relief very quickly and most symptoms were gone in 2 days.
I've tried diflucan and it works very well for me. I have to get a prescription but I usually call my OB/GYN and they call it in for me. I've also used the treatments and I've found the longer the treatment the better it works for me. The 1x did nothing whereas the 3x was much better.

I agree that the longer treatments, though annoying, seem to work better so I compromised with the 3 day (versus 1 day or 7 days). If it doesn't seem like it's gone away, maybe I'll give my OB a call for that pill. Thanks!
