I was surprised to find out yesterday that DS is going to have a little sister! Girl names have been hard for me (even before we knew DS was a boy). I need something in the same category as Declan (not very popular where we live, but not unheard of either). We like Irish names, last name sounds like muscle.
Here are some brought up so far: Rosalind (or a variant of, family name) Claire or Clara Fiona Madeleine (family name)
Possible MN- Charlotte (DS came up with this one, but too popular for a first and different category from DS) Marie - my middle and big family name.
Any suggestions for fn in the same trend category as Declan Lee would be much appreciated!
I love Fiona! I think Fiona Charlotte is very pretty.

We have a Declan, and his new little sister's name is Iris. We just didn't find any Irish girl names that seemed to fit what we were looking for. I do like Fiona and Claire. Keira is also a nice Irish name.
I keep getting slight side eyes for Fiona and Clara/Claire but love them so. What's the consensus on using Charlotte? From the day we asked DS about wanting a brother or sister (already knew we were expecting) he said with such confidence "i want a sister, her name is Charlotte" all afternoon today he said "Charlotte is coming" over and over...it's so strange! I want DS to love Fiona!
Declan and Charlotte and Declan and Fiona are both great sibsets.
I love irish names (and they are kind of a tradition in DHs family) so I hsve quite a few on my list. Declan was on my long list when we were team green) A PP already listed a few that I love including DD but here are the rest:
